Yeah, I praise Bernies delivery, but there was no mention at all of how exactly he/they are going to get all this shit to work. Except the usual we will tax Amazon, Facebook, Google more....they are all public companies, you would just be taxing the shareholders, most of which nowadays are actually everyones pension funds, capital management funds working for those pension funds

These companies dont pay federal corporate tax because of the massive rebates they get. But they do pay state and local taxes, and their employees pay income tax.

GM and Netflix also are companies that get bigger rebates than the tax they owe. Dont give those rebates, both would have gone under by now, more likely to be replaced by companies/ products in foreign hands

The part I scratch my head with is, a guy like Bernie knows this shit. Why not go after minimum wage more, or starting off with government health insurance that covers the poorest third of the population, mandatory super for the the unemployed etc etc

The one single point Bloomberg did win, directed to Bernie was, yeah but you guys wrote the tax code, not like those massive corporate tax rebates changed under Obama

Everyone with a semi-functional brain knows there is a revolving door between the DNC establishment and the transgender lobby. The fact that many politicians are not only silent on these issues, but they ADVOCATE for them as well.

You're doing it backhanded with this little rant. The site doesn't exist for personal attacks on members. The rules laid out so long ago are worth reading again if you don't fully grasp the purpose. Harassing people doesn't build membership, it chases people off.

However, in the political forum a lot more is tolerated and we have some real champion manipulators of the rules you can learn from. But a blatant attack isn't going to go unnoticed. This forum has a moderator who doesn't play when it comes to dealing with topic creep and personal shit.
