Yeah, maybe. There's also a vast voting bloc out there that does use the internet and gets its news from unreliable sources at best, conspiracy sites at worst. It's just a fucked up mess.

 

People who can never admit they even "might" be wrong, repeat their behavior over and over.

 

I doubt it. Elderly folks have embraced the internet in all kinds of ways. They communicate with family, they gripe at politicians and they order all kinds of shit that is delivered to their door, even groceries. Not only that, but most of the medical providers run patient portals specifically geared toward older users. We're 2 decades into the 21st century and just about any geezer with a phone is surfing the web.

 

Did notice on my iphone's twitter app that there was a lot about biden campaigning.

 

I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter as long as Trump doesn't win in November. But I feel like the agenda of most democrats is neglected by the Biden campaign to the degree that it basically meets what I would say is the status quo or as close to it as he can be without losing votes.

To me it's bizarre. He's just totally about votes right now. It isn't about policy if you ask me. He's trying to get as many voters as he can. This from just interpreting the layout of his site (on the web) and also reading his official position on several issues; which will change I'm sure.

Anyway, yeah... status whoa.

 

biden is desperate , he has to try and win cause you know he's got that burisma thing hanging over his head. but, he wont make it. everyone but him knows he doesn't have any brain left . at the height of stupidity he blurts out " well son of a bitch I got the prosecutor fired ". and there is an active investigation of the biden's going on right now in Ukraine. he shoulda stayed at the rest home.

This has been the flaw in the democratic plan from the beginning. After the humiliation of Hillary, democrats went into full rabid hate mode and it has blinded them. ALL of their effort has been about Trump. Which is exactly the distraction he needed. While he was talking and acting on policy issues, democrats have been running a "well, at least I'm not Trump" sort of campaign. Which is fine for less informed voters. But the educated ones want more. They want policy discussions that are not happening, especially during the debates.

Hating Trump is not much of a platform. Undermining him will take serious discussions about serious issues like the actual economy and actual healthcare and actual jobs and actual immigration policy. Enough with the feelings-driven rhetoric.

Funny how some memes are made up to make people think that what they are doing is actually truthful.
What i'm learning from you guys in the USA is that Biden is either stinking up radio stations everywhere or he's telling yarns (stories) of being arrested.

 

I got a yarn for ya. one night George Washington and I took a boat and crossed the river, found a tavern and got stinking drunk couldn't even find the door in the morning.

What has transpired from my perspective is he did not perform well in debates. He fumbled with words. Wasn't sure of himself. He knows how to do the job, but he didn't present well. I guess I expect more.

And now that I looked at his site I'm more than a little embarrassed because I used to be on board with him. Now it seems like (I say "seems like" because nothing is ever as it seems) that judging from his website he doesn't take very big sweeping changing steps policy-wise. He's mentioning some issues but not proposing to make the changes that others have. Like our healthcare for example: He offers a public option that you would have to buy into. That's not free healthcare as a right to everyone if you ask me.

Nope. Literally only Republicans are still talking about Hilary. The rest of us are talking about people like Yang, Warren, Bernie... despite winning, yall are living 4 years in the past. It's rather confusing but also comical. You wanna bring up John Kerry while you're at it? How about Michael Dukakis? Boy that Stephen Douglas sure sucked...

 

Hillary's humiliation is the genesis of all of this. Had she "won" in real terms, as in the rules established more than 2 centuries ago, we wouldn't be hearing all this insane whining from the democrats. For nearly 4 years. They didn't whine like this when Reagan humiliated Carter (an easy target).

And they are going to lose again. Because most Americans won't vote for a whiner. Regardless of party. They vote for strength.
