2c-e trip report

what exactly was it that the change in midset if you don't mind me asking? thothat is a very strange side effect. mostly the headache and gutrot are what have deterred me from eating 2ce but the UT irritation sounds pretty bad too(although appearently not as common). are you going to move on to another chem or slow down on tripping all together?

 

well i have been tripping pretty infrequently. not more than once a month. and before this, i hadn't eaten 2ce since april 3rd.
i'm gonna trip on acid once more this summer, and maybe DMT or 4acodmt, but other than that i'm gonna take it easy.

usually 2ce does make me pee a lot, but this was the only time it felt so weird like that. part of it was my imagination i'm sure.

my mindset was very relaxed. my friend asked me if i was having visuals, or what was it doing to me. and i said slight visuals, but really i just feel relaxed. REALLY RELAXED. happy and slightly more interested in my surroundings

 

sorry I was assuming you were dosin @ each concert. we all need a good break sometime though. mine's coming after the summer.

L O L! I'll never forget that night. Damn, that was 8 years ago! One of THE strangest visual experiences I've ever had, on ANY psychedelic, DMT included. Come to think of it, it may have been more than 40mg, by quite a lot... I remember the dude who sold it to me getting arrested later that night driving around drunk with a bunch of girls in his car all loaded on drugs after leaving the prom. He told us how after he was arrested, the police were pissed off trying to figure out what that powder was in all those little gels lol. Good times!

 

glad im not the only one who feels that. After i smoke weed alone, and only when alone even though i prefer it alone i feel like i really dont like weed the day after. Like its just not my drug. But i do feel like i have gotten past that. Its weird that only weed did it though.

I tried 2c-e about a year ago and it was my first (and only) experience with a 2c-x or any research chemical. When I bought it, all I remember the guy telling me was "it's intense, man, but it's a sick trip." Pretty vague but couldn't have been more true. I bought 40 mg distributed among 4 caps split among me and my two friends. They showed up at my house at around 11:30pm and we each took one cap then emptied the 4th cap, split the powder into thirds and drank it in Kool-Aid. About half the powder from the fourth cap was stuck to the inside so I volunteered to eat it. So my two friends had about 12mg and I had roughly 16mg.

About 30 minutes in (midnight) we decided to smoke some weed and go for a walk. I was unsure if it was gonna work. We found a condo complex near my house and as soon as we walked through the archway into the courtyard I knew that it was definitely starting to work. We sat on a bench and smoked a joint and I noticed the ground vividly rippling for a few seconds, but it looked more plastic-y and less organic than LSD visuals. Everything seemed to look very artificial; I felt like I had been dropped into a scale model of my neighbourhood. As I walked back to my house I felt like I was able to disconnect my mind from my body and was walking purely based on muscle memory.

We got back home and I decided to take a shower to help with the body load. I noticed watercolour-y clusters that somewhat resembles aurora borealis moving along the walls and floor. I rejoined my friends at about 1:00 or 1:30 (I wasn't really paying attention to time by that point). Usually when I do acid the first two hours are the most uncomfortable part, so thinking that it applied to all psychedelics I smoked a bowl.

Then came the peak, which probably lasted somewhere between four and six hours. I use the albums we listened to as a reference for time. Talking Heads' Fear of Music wasn't too hard on me, but by the time we listened to CAKE's Fashion Nugget (there were one or two albums in between that I can't remember) I was huddled on my couch. It was beautiful and horrifying at the same time. The northern lights I was seeing on the shower walls were now of all different colours and they were flying across the room in every direction. At one point a cluster of light lunged at me like a tiger and I had to jump back to avoid it. Objects were seamlessly drifting in and out of existence and my peripheral vision was completely gone. All I remember thinking about was how I'm incapable of accomplishing anything. I knew I'd be more comfortable if I had moved to my room but I didn't see any point. The weirdest part was that I was being forced to fight the trip which meant that going with the flow meant not going with the flow. It was a hard fact to accept. I felt great when I closed my eyes - the CEVs were incredibly geometric and involved vibrant colours dominated by green, red and purple - but some force would always pull me back to reality.

At about 6:30am one of my friends said something and as soon as he said it we were all simultaneously released from the peak. The first thing I said was "what the fuck was that?" I'd been doing a lot of acid at that time and was getting pretty cocky and 2c-e put me in my place. But if it ever comes around again I'll definitely do it. I'll probably take more next time because a big part of the problem was that i was too connected with reality. After we came down my friend remembered that he had written stuff down during the peak. One of the notes said "this banana is cool. It is yellowy and orangey. But is it just a banana?" Weird shit from a weird drug.

It's intense, man, but it's a sick trip.
