Thanksgiving

1. Read my proof copy of a new book of poems I am putting together with two other poets.

2. Ate too much turkey and stuffing.

3. Watched a favorite DVD (84 CHARING CROSS ROAD)

1. Dumped scraps of food around the foundation of my neighbors house hoping to draw field mice..

Yesterday I put up and decorated my winter tree, bought Wii Fit Plus and played on it for 2 hours and ate a lot of crumpets. A taxing day

 

Last Night

1. Bought 5 gallons of bottled water at Safeway (some sort of sinister bacteria has been found in my city's drinking water. So we're all on alert).
2. Walked by my favorite church (which I never attend).
3. Sent a double cheeseburger to Silverhippy's starving cat.

Last Night

1. Thought I was having a bad dream about being one of the doomed passengers on the Titanic: Water was spilling down from my bedroom and bathroom ceilings. Turns out my daft upstairs neighbor had fallen asleep with the water running in her clogged bathroom sink.

2. Spent most of the night mopping floors, and placing buckets all about to catch the dripping water.

3. Started reading a great bio: THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN.
