I'm vegetarian now, but I'm eating the odd bit of fish cos I ahven't actually convinced my parents that I can cope with it yet. Despite the fact that everything i've personally bought in the last 6 months has contained no meat.

What crap coursework! "Non christians"...? Whos to say what their beliefs are? Why are they all clumped together in one meaningless group? So im in the same group as someone with 10 cars and a dairy farm?

These things annoyed the hell out of me in school/college. For that one, id have writen

"Those who give a shit give a shit, those who dont, dont"

    Anyway sorry, wasnt very helpful:D

    ^^heheh

At least RE lessons provide an opportunity to point out the palpable absurdity that underpins almost all religious discourse. For that reason I used to quite enjoy them... oh and I liked tearing out and eating pages from the Gideon's Bible we were given... mmm, blasphemous:tongue::D

    1) Awoke at about 1pm. Had nothing to do but get out of bed, crawl into my clothes and listen to electro-music, whilst eating two boiled eggs, toast soldiers and slurp a filter coffee.

2)Wrote a letter to a friend of mine who lives up in Luton. I pity him because he deserves better. He was conned because he got a good value flat. Flat is great, area is total whack. Fortunately he has a car, so can get into Dunstable, Ivanhoe and Something something Beacon, very easily. Porned yet another freeview box. You see, now I have a DTR, I see the old freeview box as money. Naturally, I went to Cash Converters. They know me so well, they call me by my first name-Jack.

    3) As I sat writing a long letter to thy friend who resideth in Luton. I described a lovely morning walk along the thames path toward Erith. The low tide, the majestic swans taking off into the morning skies, with awesome power. THe sunshine infiltrating the tree's along the bank and the sound of water lapping up, carressingly along the silt-like shoreline. Bliss!

I have my finger in most religious pies, I was a Christian up until last year when my faith kind of..went somehow. Now I have some religious beliefs, a lot of atheistic and humanist beliefs, some buddhist beliefs, the pagan worship of nature and a bit of the new age spiritual thing going on. I never could make up my mind...

I've shared a room with members of the theology department at my university and sometimes take a sneaky peak at the course literature they leave lying around ... and it's just such unutterable nonsense it frequently has me in absolute stitches! Think of your RE lessons, well there are professors of that stuff who dedicate their lives to it! Literary historians studying the beautiful poetry of the Bible - great. Cultural historians studying the art, history and culture of religious faith - great. But theology - it's like the study of leprechauns and unicorns, well and truly the mother of all nonsense mickey mouse degrees...

    1) Awoke this morning and got up at 9am, after giving myself another hour in bed.
    2) Got up, had a bath and had a shave.
3)Bung the radio on and listened to Magic. Had porridge and filter coffee with hot milk. Fed cat before bunging it in a cage to hand it back to someone I know in Town. Got ready to embrace the stormy clouds of January and went to Probation. I now have 6 months left until I am done. It has been nearly three years in all.

Additional: Your nose grows all the time but your eyes always stay the same size.
