The electricity runs around $120 every month here...very very little variation. But of course there is no air conditioning. The only electricity that comes from heating the house is what it takes to pump the oil and/or water around the house. To heat this house, we have a big tank for oil but water circulates throughout the house. I have no earthly idea how it works but that is how it is.

What I'm getting to is that this house is NEVER completely dark. I will NOT sleep in the complete dark. Mama doesn't say she doesn't want to sleep in the dark, but her actions say she doesn't want to either. lol

If ever this house is completely dark, it is because we have lost power or we are both "gone to the other side".

I live with probably one of the only old people in the world that doesn't lose their minds if a light isn't cut off immediately when leaving a room. lol...so I have that to be grateful for.

 

my bedroom is 100% dark. I cant sleep in light

 

india yells me the terminator has a name, and I said it doesn't. he's saying in t2 that the terminator name is unlce bob. after i look it up, India says "in your face". dann he must of wacthed it more than me.

 

the oil gets sprayed into a fire box that heats the water

the water gets circulated to radiators with a small pump

 

Getting new tires today for the first time in 3 years.

buddy was telling me over across the border there is all kinds of tire shops...... so many people drive across to get new tires and then drive back because they are way cheaper down there even wit the exchange

 

The tires I want and they would look so good are $1,000....

So I went with the next one down. They will still look and work as they should. Ive drove through deep snow with bald tires.. thank you 5speed 4runner.

Just don't mess with Les Schwab. Place is stupidly overpriced.

 

I'm hoping the neighbor can get to doing the brake on my car before the weekend.

 

went to work earlier today .. I can start at 4am if I wanted to. Im thinking next winter to go in way early and then come home to more sunlight.. idk, means id have to sleep earlier.. I dont have much problems sleeping and waking getting up and going .. because I dont use caffeine .. but do have the children under the roof making noise.. setting fires, that kinda stuff..

Peppermint toothpaste is also an anti-depressant, anti-anxiety .. not the toothpaste itself but the peppermint wakes up the brain, makes it feel happy and get going.. This why you shouldnt give kids flavored toothpaste, like bubble gum, grape, orange... Mint toothpaste has a purpose.

I wont leave this house tell end of summer. Who knows what life will be like then.

Think we are defiantly in this for the long haul though..
