I hear of it on occasion. But I can't remember which types of businesses. I know I have seen it in more than doctors offices.

Snow was a big bust. Which is funny because for 3 days all I heard was a couple feet of snow then the last news I watched the weatherman said. "It is possible for a gust of warm air to come through here..."

Went to sleep at 5am it's 11;40 now and it's the same amount of snow. There is a drizzle of frozen rain out there now.

Almost all of our snow in yard is gone.

I wish it was July 8 months out of the year and November the last 4.

at the end the bad guy...who's car has been impaled by a huge log through the roof...asks the cop to give maris[ex wife] a message and the cop nods so buddy with his lat dying breath says ''tell her I said she's a ****'' lol

Not every venue closes for lunch or anything it's just this one hall and the venue itself doesn't close, but the venue opens for lunch and pool hall entry is through the main dining area so we always walking past people getting drinks etc. they need a rear door.

Anyway the top part of the club basically closes down until the lunch rush is over. It's quite popular, cheap pork knuckles. =p

My good friend that lives in Oregon has talked to a cannabis consortium and is supposed to be going into business doing this. She has already had her own line of lotions, facial masks, and soaps. She let the business go for several reasons...NOT bankruptcy. lol Everybody out there (in Oregon) is sort of up in arms about #45 and what the hell he may do regarding recreational weed, and the lotions and potions and such might fall under that. Anyway, she works for a tax firm this time of year; but, before tax season started she had been in talks with them to start her line back up but using cannabis based products.

She is super excited and if "somebody and their team" doesn't screw all of that up, I think it will work very well.

Lived on a dead end street in 93. Polish guy that lived upstairs (father of landlord and later became landlord) shoveled out the entire street. Just him and his wife. His job was digging Graves. Not sure if he did it by shovel but I would believe it after that snowstorm.

I've noticed this weird thing on the east coast where public parking spots are saved during a snow storm. You shoveled it out so it is yours and if another car parks there it's fine to bury it or let the air out of the tires. Definitely do not have that in Denver. You leave your spot tough shit someone else will take it it's not your property being parked on. But as the saying goes when in Rome do as the Romans do.

I understand a neighborhood having a gentleman's agreement about it everyone has a spot and we don't infringe. But to go after random cars who not know the rules seems mean to me.

In Germany and every other country I've been to and lived in, if there's a free park that doesn't say "reserved" then it's not reserved and guy can park there. :) well except America I suppose. :D but we only really parked at race track and hotel. And hooters. I have the photo of our Chevy at hooters. :D

It happens but it's not like that is a widespread thing.

My apartment a few years ago was no designated parking.
Fat lazy guy would always park in the closest spot.
One day he said he left for 10 minutes and I took "his spot"
This wasn't snowed in or nothing. It was a summer day.
The only time in 5 years he ever said a word to me was because he was upset because he had to park one single spot further down.
Damn fat fuck, maybe that extra 2 steps of exercise will help you a bit.

See I'd see the bright side. 4 extra steps = 1 jelly donut. =p

Jelly donut. Did I say that right? :D I don't think I've said that ever. Except Full Metal Jacket quotes.

    What do we have here?
    A jelly donut, sir!
    A jelly donut...

I was at my mother in laws house snow blowing 7 inches. I snow blowed my way over to her 70+ year old neighbor who waved me over to help him. He was shoveling. I got half way though his driveway and my mother in law came marching at me saying "don't do his!, your using MY snow blower to do his driveway!!"
I shook my head disobeying her, turned and continued to complete the job. My mil stood there, smoked cigarettes and leered at me the whole time. The neighbor was relieved I finished his driveway and walkway. It felt great to help him out.

I got back, put the snow blower away.
She gave me the silent treatment. I felt great to piss her off.

I guess there is a neighborhood feud I'm not aware of...lol

    no spot saving here

theres absolutely no street parking from midnight to 6am to let the plows clear the streets

they might go around some but definitely tow some and/or ticket...even in the smaller surrounding towns
