I see you like Dylan... ( who doesn't ) Now it don't seem to me quite so funny, what some people are gonna do for money, there's a brand new gimmick every day, just to take somebody's money away...
if you ate an ear of corn for breakfast, one for lunch, and one for dinner, you'd only have to eat it for 16 days straight, which is not as crazy. There's also corn bread, corn pudding, and many other delcious corn things to make. Send some to me, my pre-school students can do a whole unit on corn! I want 48 ears of corn :0(
Me too! We were tearing down some corn-stalks when my friend and I went looking for that damned mansion in the fileds. (Pretend you know what I mean.)
CORNBREAD. The thought never even crossed my mind! Thank you, dahling. Oh, and by the way. My favorite children's book is Where The Wild Things Are.
HOLY shit... homemade cornbread. My grandpa used to always pick on my mom because she blew up the cornbread at thanksgiving, one time. Ahaha. He thought my mom was a headhunter because she's from Bali...
One time we had like 60 ears of corn....my mom decided she wanted to freeze it, so she made me shuck all 60 of them.....was not fun. Wouldn't reccommend that....
Haha... you think 60 is bad. My family owns a farm... We used to live on it, but we sold the house, subdivided, and are getting rid of the rest of the land. I, at times, did several bushels a day.
worst thing is, my mom keeps looking for more corn to freeze...which would mean i'd have to shuck more. maybe I need to go on a roadtrip or something.....escape corn shucking..... I really wouldn't mind living on a farm though.....
I must say, I do love shucking corn. I could use a vacation... though I am going on one, come Monday.
