id have thought more cool to point out that man was created on the 6th day from the start and the celebration of your creation is on the 6th day from the date that is significant concerning the number of man.

first, that would only be really interesting if it was 1/9/1999. Or if your friend turned 9, instead of 19.

Second, think how many people there are in the world. Figure, statistically, that people are born evenly every day of the year, where no day is favored over another. Then understand that of course, with 6+ billion people to chose from, SOMEONE is going to turn 9 on 9-9-1999. It's not really interesting at all.

Third, the same goes for falling CD players. It's random and doesn't mean anything. Numbers lend themselves so readily to patterns (there are, after all, only 10 numbers to work with) that of course random events have a high possibility of creating a number pattern that is in some way to some person meaningful.

So no, it's not the end of the world.

now THAT'S interesting. and the thing about the earthquake happening where their shouldn't be one? THE TSUNAMI ANYONE? does no one else find it strange that an earthquake(the shifting of the earth's crust along fault lines) created a tsunami spreading out like a ripple? wouldn't an earthquake cause more of an oval shaped tsunami? one with an epicenter sending out waves in a circular form... maybe it's just me, but that seems alot more like a bomb test
