hey im new to the dread thing. But im with it all the way lol.. i have very similar to urs which is quite curly. would you be able to tell me your method and what products like shampoo and stuff like tht

hers are very odviosly natural
i csant say what products shes used but most around here use dr brionners classic 19 in 1 pure castile soap
or the deep cleanse (1st post in the wax removal sticky)
2 or 3 justy do a water rince 1 or 2 use a special kinda clay i think from india

dr bronners though is probly the most recommended especialy for early dreads

windcriesmary is definate proof that the natural method doesnt always take up to a year hers dreaded in weeks naturaly..ive known ppl whodd gread overnight if they didnt braid theyre hair to prevent it

i cant remember hoew long mine too to dread naturaly but i dont think it took mofe then a month or so id that long

 

dreads are looking great, very unique! you're going to love it in SF....I was just up there for a few days recently.
