You forgot Tony Snow from Fox News, who is now the White House press spokesman. They might have just as well have picked O'Reilly. Why not go for the ultimate. .
If x is true, it proves a conspiracy. If x isn't true, it also proves the conspiracy. Its no wonder you think there's so much evidence.

The question is no longer rhetorical. We are not yet living in a total police state, but it is fast approaching. The seeds of future tyranny have been sown, and many of our basic protections against government have been undermined. The atmosphere since 2001 has permitted Congress to create whole new departments and agencies that purport to make us safer – always at the expense of our liberty. But security and liberty go hand-in-hand. Members of Congress, like too many Americans, don’t understand that a society with no constraints on its government cannot be secure. History proves that societies crumble when their governments become more powerful than the people and private institutions. Unfortunately, the new intelligence bill passed by Congress two weeks ago moves us closer to an encroaching police state by imposing the precursor to a full-fledged national ID card. Within two years, every American will need a “conforming” ID to deal with any federal agency – including TSA at the airport. Undoubtedly many Americans and members of Congress don’t believe America is becoming a police state, which is reasonable enough. They associate the phrase with highly visible symbols of authoritarianism like military patrols, martial law, and summary executions. But we ought to be concerned that we have laid the foundation for tyranny by making the public more docile, more accustomed to government bullying, and more accepting of arbitrary authority – all in the name of security. Our love for liberty above all has been so diminished that we tolerate intrusions into our privacy that would have been abhorred just a few years ago. We tolerate inconveniences and infringements upon our liberties in a manner that reflects poorly on our great national character of rugged individualism. American history, at least in part, is a history of people who don’t like being told what to do. Yet we are increasingly empowering the federal government and its agents to run our lives. Terror, fear, and crises like 9-11 are used to achieve complacency and obedience, especially when citizens are deluded into believing they are still a free people. The loss of liberty, we are assured, will be minimal, short-lived, and necessary. Many citizens believe that once the war on terror is over, restrictions on their liberties will be reversed. But this war is undeclared and open-ended, with no precise enemy and no expressly stated final goal. Terrorism will never be eradicated completely; does this mean future presidents will assert extraordinary war powers indefinitely? Washington DC provides a vivid illustration of what our future might look like. Visitors to Capitol Hill encounter police barricades, metal detectors, paramilitary officers carrying fully automatic rifles, police dogs, ID checks, and vehicle stops. The people are totally disarmed; only the police and criminals have guns. Surveillance cameras are everywhere, monitoring street activity, subway travel, parks, and federal buildings. There's not much evidence of an open society in Washington, DC, yet most folks do not complain – anything goes if it's for government-provided safety and security. After all, proponents argue, the government is doing all this to catch the bad guys. If you don’t have anything to hide, they ask, what are you so afraid of? The answer is that I’m afraid of losing the last vestiges of privacy that a free society should hold dear. I’m afraid of creating a society where the burden is on citizens to prove their innocence, rather than on government to prove wrongdoing. Most of all, I’m afraid of living in a society where a subservient populace surrenders its liberties to an all-powerful government. It may be true that average Americans do not feel intimidated by the encroachment of the police state. Americans remain tolerant of what they see as mere nuisances because they have been deluded into believing total government supervision is necessary and helpful, and because they still enjoy a high level of material comfort. That tolerance may wane, however, as our standard of living falls due to spiraling debt, endless deficit spending at home and abroad, a declining fiat dollar, inflation, higher interest rates, and failing entitlement programs. At that point attitudes toward omnipotent government may change, but the trend toward authoritarianism will be difficult to reverse. Those who believe a police state can't happen here are poor students of history. Every government, democratic or not, is capable of tyranny. We must understand this if we hope to remain a free people.

Yes Whackyiraqi I obviously am "SICK" because I think powerful people are to blame for 9/11, not 19 arabs. Anyone with half a brain knows our current administration is in bed with the Saudis and Israel. Why does it not make sense to you that all of these countries gain from 9/11? Not Afghanistan, Iraq, or Iran, or Syria, or any other countries Bush gets to invade with a blank check due to 9/11? Your in total denial.
The rich arabs that the US government are in bed with are not fundamentalists. If the government was to stage a false attack to turn the US into a police state and be provided a blank check, would they need to stage an attack that was as complicated as 9/11? Involved so many people that would need to be accomplices? A plan that had so much risk of exposure?
Hey man, it sounds just as crazy to me, but the fact is they were dumb/crazy enough to do it and now people are waking up like not ever before, your just getting left behind as the rest of hamanity wakes up. Our government ARE in bed with Fundamentalists! You don't think that the Saudi Arabian Government are fanatical? They rule over their country with outrageous religious laws, they are definitly religious fundamentalists, and are government are just fundamentalists for the Neo-con agenda. Whacky, you either know already or are just to naive. Just because you aren't evil doesn't mean there aren't evil people out there who will pull off terrorist attacks for their own agenda. The fact that the government has people like you jumping from forum to forum preaching to everyone how "CRAZY" any other theory about 911 is except the official one, means they can get away with anything, because no matter what they do they will know you and many others will have their back! Thanks for covering up the murder of 3,000 people, if you want to stop, join us.
i just wonder why the building couldnt be demolished by the plane crash?! it happens in front of all of us.. If it is about that the US admin. knew about that, well i think it did and it playes blind till it was dont to find a reason to invade Iraq and rob its oil... Havent you seen how bush linked Iraq with Osama BL to justify attacking iraq?
"The" fundamentalists. As if they were one group, one mailing list maybe so Bush could just cc: "The fundamentalists" whenever he and Dick Cheny are cooking up a plot. The world isn't as simple as you want it to be.
Yes I know...I wish it was...but the fact is that you need to understand that as well. You want to believe this fantasy that 9/11 was an attack which came from completely outside the United States, you can't get your head wrapped around the fact that there are white people, powerful people, elitists, people who SAY your interests are their interests, that will kill you to get their agenda moved forward, I know it's sad, me and you both wished it was just 19 arabs who wanted to destroy america's infrastructure, but who is destroying are infastructure? The world isn't as simple as you want it to be...
No steel-frame builiding has ever collapsed from fire prior to 9/11. The people who claim that planes brought the towers down simply do not have their facts together and should try informing themselves before speaking their establishment nonsense. Everyone needs to watch '911 Mysteries: Demolitions', which can be seen on Google Video. This video literally proves the buildings were brought down in a controlled demolition. ALSO.... To the people who think the planes brought down the towers, WHAT ABOUT BUILDING 7??
Those other buildings weren't hit by a jumbo jet fully loaded with fuel. It's a nonsensical comparison. We already addressed wtc7 in this thread. 911mysteries proves nothing. It's another flaky video produced by people with no background in structural engineering. .
Shaggie, you havn't proved jack. I showed you how the windsor building didn't collapse with MUCH bigger fires spread out on many floors as opposed to a few on 911...you said indeed some of the floors had collapsed, maybe, but only a few on the top and the core remained intact. The same thing would have happened on 911, maybe a few floors would collapse due to fire but the steel core would remain intact and the rest of the floors below the impact zone floor would have remained intact. Then you showed me a picture of the core standing after the collapse, this picture had been taken seconds if not less before it collapsed, why did the steel core collapse shaggie? want to answer these questions, of course not because you can't. Very nice of you to insult the people who worked very hard on the movie "911 mysteries" and asking hard questions instead of yourself, another typical dumb liberal who likes to make fun of bush because he's stupid and takes too many vacations, while blatantly ignoring the global crime syndicate that backs him and that he's a puppet for, why don't you go to moveon.org and talk to some people there, im sure youll get along talking about abortion and minimum wage, while we talk about real issues like freedom.
haha man i really don't know, I guess its because i feel bad for people that don't understand basic human pyschology and basic things like 911 and who benefits...i can't really get passed it I want them to know and be aware of what's going on around them, but after a point it becomes obvious they want to ignorant and be asleep. Glad to see someone else here wants to "expose the truth" haha.
The 911 conspiracy movement has definately lost steam since the 5th anniversary. The infighting between groups run by people like Fetzer, Hoffman, and Jones has become fierce. Just visit their forums. They are even showing up at each other's conferences and trying to steal members and disrupt the other group. Steven Jones resigned from BYU due to an upcoming investigation by BYU about claims he was making about the towers without a proper scientific basis. Jones also recently quit Scholars for 911 Truth. Reporter Chris Bollyns who was collaborating with Jones was fired from American Free Press for deceptive quote mining and outright lying about 911 and other events. Judy Woods is in jeopardy of losing her professor position just like Jones for making utterly ridiculous explanations of the collapse of the towers that have no basis in science. Check out some of her 'science' at her website and see for yourself. Kevin Ryan was fired for erroneously claiming that UL certified the steel in the WTC to try to bolster his claims that the towers couldn't have failed due to heat-damaged steel. He was actually employed by Environmental Health Laboratories which is affiliated with UL but not owned by them. The 911 conspiracy claims have played out much like Bush's contentions about WMD in Iraq. It sounded convincing initially to some of the public and they were duped, but people later realized that there wasn't any basis for it and rejected it. .
All of the long span floors above the technical floor did collapse, not just a few. Look at the photo. The Windsor didn't have the same design as the WTC towers. We've been through this before. The technical floor was concrete and managed to arrest the collapse. Also, it wasn't struck and damaged by a jumbo jet. The WTC cores weren't made to stand on their own. What was left of the cores managed to stand for only a few seconds. They oscillated and leaned and the splices broke. Watch the videos of them. For those who don't like practical explanations, visit Judy Wood's page about space beams and how she thinks they destroyed the core. You might want to do it before she gets fired from her university position too. .
