90's hip hop was definitely the best... but I like a little of the current hip hip too, although it took me a while to warm up to it... main difference is the focus got moved from the streets to the club. I'd have to say that I like Kannabis King's list the best so far though. Naughty by Nature - Dirt all by my lonely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm03YvSOCwA Gangstarr- NY niggaz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEDdGQBBP3Q Method Man - Judgement Day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6Vg4EwCEEo Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP0wsET8__Y Field Mob - Project Dreamz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J06RX5_Hx0 Oh, and I agree... people need to STFU and stop trying to start arguments.
lol i remember being 11 or 12 and smoking fat spliffs and listening to the chronic. oh man that is such a classic album!
I grew up on that album haha.. Dre, Snoop, Luniz and Cypress Hill. That's what it was all about back in the day.

(2000 but still good as hell with late 90s feel) Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek) - The Blast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BC73fFKl3-M Common - I Used to Love H.E.R. (one of the best hiphop songs to every be created - if you have never heard this song you gotta listen to its ENTIRETY) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y12YgEIFcAY DOOM (previously MF Doom) - Doomsday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRHyBwNtkLA A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFZLq6R-ZtM The Roots - Clones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtDiTiuR3dc so much more A lot of the "new" shit is raw as hell - if 90s hiphop was your thing and the 00s were hard to ingest, listen to J DILLA. Nowadays is Pete Rock and Black Milk and the like for the heady shit - then there is 09 XXL freshmen Blu, Charles, B. o. motherfucking B. and Corey can't get any better than them. Wale can get hot but his shit is sometimes too mainstream
yo enjoy, you little punk, why you even in here if not lookin for trouble? you got one small ass head if you can't just accept other peoples' taste in music. personally i find metal to be one of the stupidest genres out there, but you seem to like it - im not rippin on it cause people like it
lol, I am not punk So I should only be here if I'm looking for trouble? I can accept peoples taste's. I can see/understand the talent in just about every genre, whether I like the music or not. However when it comes to hip hop and rap. I really have trouble seeing the beauty in it all. awesome suggest me 1 singular song which is hip hop the song which you think is the most iconic, mind shattering, pant exploding, most likely to change ones opinion on the whole hip hop scene I promise I won't rip on it either
