I painted the bathroom cabinets... Didn't stick. Now I have to pull all the doors off, pull the drawers and strip that all off.


On another note (pun intended*) I was at Goodwill looking through the $5 electronics bin and found this...



Might look like an old tape player, and you would be right... but it's also a vacuum tube amp. Standard array of 12AX7 preamp and a 6V6 power amp tube... It's like an old Fender Champ from the 60's with a tape player attached... Think Ritchie Blackmore. 'nuf said.

It even has standard guitar jacks for inputs and outputs.

i have sliding windows. im not sure which is a dumber design, horizontal slide, or crank open. they both suck and are inefficient. eventually we will replace with double-hungs. but i want to build out the bigger windows too. the bedroom windows are 4 feet up and 3feet longx 2 feet tall. so, probably going to need to custom design windows.

when i win the lotto. i dont know what hubby thinks is going to happen when i start working again, but i dont think he realizes that i have deliberately taken the back seat on money matters for the last 7 years. i wasnt making the money. but once im bringing in a check the bills are going to implode. and then, once they are paid down i can buy supplies for my garden. a girl can dream.
