While I agree with your comment that MV's situation doesn't necessarily come from excessive masturbation, I personally don't think putting down a certain age group just because some of them display a level of ignorance is called for. STO3R probably didn't mean any harm by it, and at least his good intentions should be acknowledged.

Yeah ok, this is a first for me (don't get used to it) but I apologise for having a go at STON3R. I guess I'm just fed up sometimes of younger guys (generally 16-20yo) thinking they know all the answers and trying to be clever by telling someone to get off his ass and do whatever! I've chatted to the original poster of this message and unless there is a trained professional in this forum then I think I understand what he's going through more than a 17yo does. Only my opinion though. No offence meant!!!

Anyway, no problem. I've talked to MV via PM's too myself, so I know how it goes. After all, I'm a 30 year-old virgin myself and know how some people have a tendency to assume older virgins are virgins because there is something wrong with them. Although, I've personally found the kind of attitude has been displayed in a more obnoxious fashion when it comes from people ABOVE a certain age group. Those people, if I may generalize, talk about psychological this and medication that, while often failing to get to the heart of the matter:

- the fact that being a virgin in itself is NOT a bad thing,

- the fact that masturbating lots in itself is NOT a bad thing,

- the fact that even wanting to tell others that you're aroused/masturbating in itself, again, is NOT a bad thing,

- and above all, the fact that people should be more interested in perceiving sex/sexuality as a positive, beautiful thing and be more comfortable with their own sexuality and/or virginity rather than be agitated, embarrassed, and/or ashamed by it, provided that nobody will be harmed.

I think the bottom-line is that MV should be more comfortable with himself, and have more self-confidence. I think that's what he needs, not some shrink encouraging him to take some weird meds.

 

I don't think the masturbation is an issue. It might be if it's bothering you. If it's not harming anyone, then it's more of a personal issue.
Maybe I'm misreading this, are the women you're whispering to or telling that you're jacking off willing participants. If not, it could be considered sexual harassment or even sexual predation.
Have you tried an adult internet site or forum. Maybe one of those cam sites with like minded adults. I think if you do it on a world of warcraft server, you're just begging to have the cops knock on your door. Take your urges to where they can be appreciated among consenting adults.
