The only reason I like doing trip reports is it helps me reflect on the trip. I love it. But we allllll know there is no fucking way to explain any trip with words.

 

Yaah .. Im glad i cant, id rather have mystery and unknown.

Better off not knowing how it works, then its new everytime you go there ..

 

Writers will always try.

 

Some writers can describe their experiences much more expressively because they know the words for ideas, emotions and phenomenon that express what they have experienced. Of course a subjective experience can never be conveyed perfectly using words, but great writers can come close enough to make this reports worthwhile to read.

 

So you guys seriously like threads like this? Have fun on your own, then. Yeah, I may be a bit of a dick, but I've got knowledge. Most of you kids are fucking hopeless, though. Have fun with the other 3 posters that can actually give a real answer to a question and/or contribute shit. I'm done with this piece of shit.

You guys ever wonder why you don't have any kind of new, cutting edge information, like over at Mycotopia, here? Because you ask the same damn questions over & over, and you all support threads like this.

But I mean I don't know about you guys but when I get on the web all the serious research is done through searches and genuine reading, if I need to know something I ask a question something that anyone is perfectly capable of doing on this forum. When I get on this site I'm not here to pleasure my ego-hole, just hang with most of you guys.

But seriously man one of the greatest things about this site is there arn't nazis here that patronize people for saying what they want to say.

If only I had one. My life's so stressful it's ridiculous. I've been on the edge of being homeless for months now. But that's beside the point.

But the problem is that if people only get on here and bullshit, nobody worth a shit is gonna stick around. I mean, look at it now. There are only a few people giving real answers to advanced questions. It's because anybody looking for knowledge is gonna go elsewhere. There's none here because nobody takes it even remotely seriously.

I'm not saying that stupid threads aren't awesome (I was on Totse for like 6 years) but when a forum that is supposed to teach you about a serious subject is nothing but things like this, then there's no point to it. Why don't we have a bullshitting thread and just try to get it stickied? That way we can post whatever kind of dumb shit we want and the board won't be cluttered up. I'd even participate.

But that also creates a situation where everybody just agrees with one another no matter what. In this hobby, if you trust with the wrong person (I've got mushroom hunting in mind now, but there are other examples) you can die. Disturbance is a naturally occurring thing.

I feel you on the shroom hunting thing, if you don't know your shit you could die pretty easy. But for the most part psychedelics really aren't a serious thing I mean if there's one thing I learned about shrooms especially is when you make a big deal about an oncoming trip one of two things are gonna happen:
1. If you aren't experienced enough things could go wrong (no one wants that and from this you have a self validating point)
or
2. Your gonna have a great trip and you hit the point where it's like "why was I making such a big deal about this, in reality it's all just a beautiful joke" and that's when the giggles hit haha

But I do see your point seriously, and I'm sorry your on the verge of being on the street and thus it may be hard not to take things so serious but just try. I do dig your posts for the record but I just don't want anyone feeling alienated whether they post retarded posts or they post brilliant posts it's just my philosophy on life so I just have to put my 2 cents in.

But ya man, just don't worry because I'm sure plenty of the really great posters aren't going anywhere.

Just do what I do for the most part, don't post in the fucking assinined threads such as this one. I honestly think a lot of these guys chime in on every damn thread just to make thier posting count higher.

I will say though that you often come off as an arrogant fuck, especially in the threads about LSD. Dude there are other people in these forums that have had "real pure and clean" LSD. You make it sound as though you are the only one here that has been graced with the real thing. I completely agree with you about the purity issue and that the dosages for most street hits is overstated.

I personally get a little chuckle when you refer to "all you kids". What a joke, as far as I'm concerned you are still just a kid as well. Hell I have pimples on my ass older than you.

That's true, they can, but I usually don't bother joining in because they are of little substance.

A large majority of the questions on these forums are assinined and could be answered by the person doing a little research. I've used, studied, and researched these substances for a few decades, a lot of it before there was an internet or Google. It's not hard to do, more people should try it before asking in these forums.
But I still have learned new things and have asked questions that can really only be answered by experienced individuals in these forums.

Now telling me to "go eat 5 grams and come back and read it" is a good example of infantile. Thankyou for illustrating my point.
