i suppose that line that i helpfully bolded above is what confused me. and starting to wash with bronner's doesn't instantly mean you're going for dreads... i have friends with straight/undreaded hair who use Bronner's. just saying

yeah... seeing as they don't have dreads. thus me saying they have straight/non-dreaded hair. i was just mentioning how you saying you're starting to wash with the dr. b's again doesn't necessarily imply you're dreading. its a soap that lots of people use. if just dread haired people used it, it wouldn't be as big of a company as it is, i'm sure.
I understand. There have been people whose hair supposedly didn't dread after washing with residue free soap and not combing, so I thought you might be implying that about your friends. Anyway, I definitely want to go natural, so I just need to let my hair grow.
