Is that an invite?! Sweet! I'll bring my saws and kick some serious dead tree ass when I get there! A day or two of cutting and you'll have more wood than you know what to do with for the next 5 years. Then I'll return. We'll have a nice dinner. It will be beautiful. :)

But seriously...that sounds like kind of an odd system. So the house is on a slab and everything was put into the slab or am I not understanding this correctly? That makes me wonder about houses down south that are built on slabs.

Definitely win some/lose some. When I buy something new (which I like to do) I usually buy something else that I'm sure of just to be on the safe side.

hetero or bent, male or female, to me those are all acts people put on, that i'm not very favorably impressed by.
to me, every last one of those, is whining about not being the center of the universe.

rap is supposedly some kind of an art form. or started out to be anyway.
rebel meaning what? i mean you're where you are and the world is where it is, and maybe they correspond sometimes and other times they don't.
its gratuitous to go out of ones way to make it do either.
again, really a phonier then a three dollar bill act.

Have you ever bought Dales Pale Ale or anything else from Oskar Blues Brewery? I've heard about them forever but we only recently had them distributed in my area. So far, I've had the pale ale and the Deviant Dale's IPA. The pale ale is 6.5 and the IPA is 8. I think all of their stuff comes in cans and I've always heard that it was the best beer you can buy in a can. I think that's probably true. Right now, I've had a few Two Hearted Ales and I'm having a really nice Lagunitas Maximus..8.2% and 72.41 IBUs. Nice. Expect stupid posts in 2 hours. :)

The way I meant rebel was in the sense reminiscent of men in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. A large percent of young men are either into rap and thug life, or they're into redneck, good old country boy stuff like wearing camo, driving big trucks, spitting tobacco.

I find it highly amusing when rednecks are listening to loud rap music in their Chevy 4x4s with confederate flag stickers on their trucks. It's interesting to just watch people and notice things like that (or other things too).

Yeah, 1948 and the house was built on a slab with heated floors... residential water was also run in the slab. This style of house it was fairly common to do it this way, but the style of house isn't very common. All of this froze and broke when they tossed out the lady living here right before winter and nobody winterized the system. But at some point before this the residential water lines broke that went to the kitchen and 2nd bathroom. When I bought it there were copper lines running in that direction but that job was never finished. I used these and finished them to the kitchen and bathroom, that's where ratassed plumber came into play, I should have just done it myself. (as is usual)

The newest section, master bedroom and bath, was built in 1960 and it's the only part with a basement. Heat in there was baseboard radiators and those are usable. They will be hooked up to a hot water setup that uses the same wood furnace to heat the water. That isn't hooked up yet but is in design stage. So it's really part forced air and part hot water radiator.

When I first moved in I only had water in the master bathroom and basement... Took over a year before it was all functioning. Now I have to get back to it and find this possible leak I witnessed today. That spurt of air is a dead giveaway something's not right. It did this before and plumber guy had put in a fitting with no teflon tape... Guy was a total ass and had no idea what the fuck he was doing, he had to use pex, because I found out he doesn't know how to use copper and I don't trust that pex shyt. I doubt any of the work he did will remain once I get around to sorting it. "Quick and dirty" again... That's what I get for hiring people.

So, when you gonna be here?

I happened to cross path with a kid I fired a while back. We had a great talk today. I really didn't want to let him go but dammit! I loved having that kid working for me! I was grooming him to take my spot. Didn't work out.

So we reconnected today and he was totally cool about it all. We've been texting and he's basically said "I know i didn't give you much of a choice. I was in a bad situation. I was a pussy and I really miss our conversations. You're one of my most favorite people ever." (para-phrased)

Of course, if he's trying to get his job back...that's to be assumed. But he doesn't seem to be trying to do that and I really like the guy so I will take him at his word. I actually like him a lot too or I wouldn't have considered him to be someone to do my job. As I've said before, I'm very good at "knowing" people but not very good at maintaining friendships.

all of my previous lives were on other worlds circling other suns.
i believed in respecting their environments as i do this one though.
as perhaps a greater percentage of the people on them may have done as well.

....you only have the 3 choices down there?......I don't understand why they are ''poor things''?....why are they confused with a correlation to music?

I don't even come close to ''getting'' that post

good morning....i'm gone all day....maybe even until tomorrow ;)
