btw if anyone ever wants to put in flashing led easiest way is just wire the positive to contant 12v and negative to the ignition 12v behind your radio....that way it only flashes when the key is off

ignition +12v turns into a floating ground when power is cut

That's the stuff... If you cut it to the ground and paint the stump with root-b-gone it won't come back. If it's in a yard, it gets tired of being mown and gives up. Thing is, it's one of the reasons I get humming birds early enough for them to want to breed here so some of it will remain. There are a couple of areas where it does make a nice screen/backdrop. The rest needs to go away.

We spray Garlon which should get the job done too but we haven't bothered with it much yet on the honeysuckle. They don't affect the lines so mostly it's more of an issue of access. Maybe we'll spray that road we just cut just to see how effective it is.

I don't care about the poison ivy. I've always heard that nobody is truly immune to it but....I've been walking and working around it and climbing with it in my face regularly for years and I've never been bothered. But I've known guys who can practically see it and break out. Who knows? It doesn't bother me though. I hate walking through various plants that I collectively call "itch weed". It bothers you until it wears off or you throw some water on your skin.

Still, something I don't want a lot of and it would take over if I just "let it all be natural"

i dont catch the poison ivy.
I took out some staghorn sumac the old fashion way with an axe today. good exercise .. thats what I bought myself for my birthday,,,, an axe and a new wheel burrow.

couldnt find a guitar I liked .. but did like the stagg s300 rosewood alder body ,, but just not in the market for another electric just yet,, besides I want a gibson les paul if I do buy one.. just a cheap mock one. martin backpack acoustic sounds nice, but the shape is to weird and holding its retarded but nice tone for a little box of wood.

I've heard those Martin Backpack guitars have a pretty sweet sound for as small as they are. I've never played one but I kind of wish I had one. The last thing I need right now is more music shit though. Before we moved, we had one child left at home and room to do other things...like have my guitar room. Now we're back and we have more people and less space...and...no guitar room right now. All of my shit is stacked in a corner of the living room and I have no idea what to do with it all. I hate the clutter but it's going to take some time to unfuck everything and get things where they're supposed to be.

I got a lot of vital mowing done these last few days... Stuff I haven't been able to do in the early spring these last two years. If I can keep the mower running I'll be on top of it for the first time. Mower needs it's maintenance and new drive belts. No idea what the blades look like... they still cut.

Now I need to start on that fence... Hope the ground is still soft. This is a wooden post fence, not the easiest type for one guy to put up. Damn posts are heavy as hell, and I don't have a post hole digger. Fun.... NOT!

Adjacent property owner agrees with said fence, that's the lady in Germany. She is also going to deal with FFFarmer and tell him about "our decision" to keep him off both properties. Nice to have an ally with connections.

    Anyways.... Where's that coffee.
