A ticket to Ryde.

    Why did you head to yarmouth? It's like so the opposite direction.. I lived not too far from yarmouth a few years ago.

    Crazy, it takes 2hrs 40 to go to Spain from liverpool, and the rout is down country first.. scouse planes are the best!

    Nearest crossing for me Lymington to Yarmouth???????

    Yarmouth is up north on the right side, near the wash.. ? Half way up.. isle of white is an island off the south cost... I remember doing a tour around the Navy cemetery (ships and boats) and watching the isle of man ferry, thinking, Victoria's last journey, made me a bit sad.

    True we had to drive through to Ryde.
    But much shorter crossing from Lymington to Yarmouth.
    We returned Fishbourne to Portsmouth, then a longer drive home.

    Ahhhh your on about Yarmouth Isle of white... that makes sense...
    Do you know of any hotels there? I have a picture of my grandparents out side a hotel.. it might be white something?

    Oh did I get in my usual muddle - Trust me

    I would love to see a photo.
    I used to live in Ryde. I do know a few hotels.
    Not any in Yarmouth. But I have a friend that may know.

    Oh yes, I know Sandown very well. It has yellow sand on the beach.

    I've never been, but my great and grand parents went regular for years... I shall have to look get an up to date pic of the hotel if it's still there. Thanks
