while I did enjoy"Steal this book" and it came in handy at a time in my life...I lived in NY inthe very early 70's...I never knew Hoffman or Ruben or any of them as far as I can remember.

But I do know about people, that in my opinion are full of shit....but others hold them up in high esteem...Jesse Jackson for one.
I don't know him personally so it only comes down to what I deducte from my public knowledge.

As far as someone knowing their shit.....you may know one thing but not another.
You may be well versed in one thing but not another.
You may know some one personally and know your shit about that person but not another.

I may agree with one thing you say but not another.

You may have some book learnin' but lack common sense.
    yingo yango.....

It kills me when these freakin celebrities spout off in a public forum (music award shows or any tv platform) and people will embrace those ideals...just because this person is in the lime light.
eeeewwwww....SOandso(insert celeb name here) said it so I"m gonna believe it,vote for it, join it.....holds as much water with me as if the drunk guy down the road said it.

    Right on Mellow.
While I live in the woods, I do still get involved in things that provoke a passion in me.
Right now I am talking with the Public Utilities Comm of Ohio.
I am pissed off that to have electricity out here you are forced to join a rural elec co-op.
There is a fee to join.
And although our usage runs about 20.00 amonth they tack on that other 10.....for what??? I don't know.
It is a monopoly, you have to join to have elec. then they charge an extra 10.00 a month for a 'line charge'...the per killowat cost is no lower than any other public utility comp. in the state.
Also on your bill it says if you do get cut off it is 200.00 to be reconnected.
This is one of the top 3 poorest counties in Ohio.
I figure that if you are having a problem paying your bill in the first place and get cut off...how in the hell can you come up with 200.00 more?
They have the monopoly...they could charge a thousand dollars if they wanted...not being a 'public' utility but a private co-op they are beyond regulation.

Sorry for the spouting...but it just pisses me off.
All the more reason to keep saving for the wind generator...

I have to same gripe as living in the country. Co Opp everything. I think I got Lynn convinced to redig the well and put a windmill on it and make our own eletricity, we could run all three houses with it and the barns with juice to spare. I want solar too, but will settle for the windmill right now. I want off the grid entirely, I don't like others making disissions for me. and if all hell does break loose then we won't be dependant on their shit. And don't get me started on thew TAXES... almost 1,000$.. good grief.
There oughta be a law.. ha!

I didn't know there was an Abbie movie but we need people like him to stand up and speak against the bullshit Amerikon pig and the politicians like Auztralia's John Howard who seem to lick Bush's arse.Ithank Abbie for all he done. He made mistakes but after all he was only human like you and me. I Thank him for encouraging me to protest the first g.bush visit to Melb. Auzt in the early 90's. This proves even know he had passed away his sprit lives on. Love Peace andREVOLUTION

Well, fuck me down! Someone on the hipforums has actually read "The Turner Diaries"! I read about half of it (it's posted in its entirety somewhere on the web), but since it's so badly written, I lost interest.

Voided37, when you find a forum with No censorship and where posters must list their real names and addresses-- let me know. I've never found one.

The scene: In a crowded theatre.

I do wish ya'll would take this crap over to the rants and raves thread. If you want to see some censorship keep fucking up my Garden.
Voided keep a civil tongue in your head, your talking about woman well I am a woman and your offending me with how your attacking people here, now please calm it down a taste. It may make you feel better but it doesn't resonate well with me. Can we make this a peaceful assembly and not drag personalities into it. I know you mean well and I do apperciate your heart, but please remember to Harm None my friend. And that goes for everyone!!
Can we have a little unity and brotherhood here please. Can we show the youngers that we can be what we claim to be, peace loveing people. Can we just be cool and set an example for them to follow. What is this small shit causing in the universal flow. Stickers and Thrones. That is not the Leagacy I want to leave. Can we show a little love here for a change.
I love you all and want every one to be happy.
    Brightest Blessings

I know how to make napalm and load and wire dynamite-- used to do it working pipeline. I used to steal dynamite (40% nitro) and electric caps and blow up abandoned cars at an old quarry where we used to swim.

Oh yeah, we made pipe bombs and blasted fish, too!

    BOOOOOOOOM!

ha! funny you should mention that, i just learned that the other day. i have always used applesause instead of oil and try to do that for a pie crust-came out tuff as hell, it took me about ten minutes to cut and piece of pie and had to rip part of it cause the knife would cut it all the way.

    who is G-d?????

    And some weeds SUCK!!!
They over run, stragling EVERYT^HING they come into contact with.
They are overbearing, smothering, hurtful and invasive.
Some are beautiful and useful and glorious, but as they cannot control themselves we sometimes have to limit their invasivness.

I had a house in Va. years ago and along the side of the house a plant grew..Virginia Creeper.
It is a vine that becomes a woody vine, very strong. It grew up under the shingles on the house and started busting them.
I liked the plant, beautiful vine, but I had to put it under control or it would have destroyed the house.

So weeds have their place, but unless you want them invading your space, you do have to exert a bit of control.
Go down to Tenn. and watch the Kudzu....it will overtake any and everything in its path.

I have enough space here to not worry too much about weeds, they are all over as we live in the woods. But I do keep them out of my garden or I won't have a good harvest. That keeps me from enjoying what I planted. My tomatoes will not have to compete for water and light as long as I can bend over and pluck out a weed.
