Well you are wrong if you believe the Bible has been passed around so much, that no one today can be sure if its right. There is such a thing called the Majority Text, which are copies of the Bible numbering in the thousands that have been written from different times, cultures, and nations.
What they all have in common, is the fact that they all read the same. And it is because of this we can have confidence in the Bible we have today. There may be Bibles that have some changes, but these Bibles can be seen as the counterfits they are, when exposed to the Majority Text.
The Bible tells us about the past and it tells us about the future. This can be clearly seen by looking at the historical portions of Scripture, and the future can be seen in the prophecies.
You can decide what direction you want to go in, but I have always found it better to follow a map that will help us find the best way to get from point A to point B. The Bible tells us that when you leave this world doing good deeds will not help you in the life to come. In order to get to heaven, you will need more than good deeds, and any attempt to get there by yourself, will only end in failure. Our future is approaching us quickly, we can see this because the Bible has told us that when the Jews return to Israel Christ return will be near. The Bible also tells us that Jerusalems East Gate will remain closed and sealed until the Prince to come opens it Himself. Jerusalems East Gate is sealed today, and this is just another truth of the Bible. God has a plan for us all, yet you will not be ready if you think you can understand it by doing things yourself.

 

Only people who love God and care about others will be found in Heaven, you might be right, you might not fit in there.

 

If you understood the Scriptures you would understand that God can be in more than one place at one time. And God would laught at your calculations, because your thinking compared to Gods abilities are as far as the east is from the west. And the Bible tells us, that one day with God is equal to 2,000 earthly years. And the one who spoke to me, is the Holy Spirit, He is the member of the Godhead that came to earth after Christ left.

 

If you believe that the Bible is a compilation of fiction writings, then you would be wrong. They have just discovered the remains of Pharoahs army below the Red Sea. Goggle Red Sea Crossing, you might be surprised what is nolonger considered fiction.

 

If you recall the scribs were going to stone a woman for adultery. Jesus told them let him without sin cast the first stone. They all left . And to the woman. Jesus told her to go, AND SIN NO MORE. Jesus did not accept her life style, and He told her so.

just out of curiosity, since abortion as birth control has been mentioned more then once, what are your views on such things? I personally have the depovera shot, which takes down the chance of having a child by a goodly amount. are you going to say that's wrong now? I'm not feminist, but it is still the woman's decision, and men shouldn't have any say in whether or not the abortion happens.

You are a guy, you get someone pregnant, they freak and don't want a baby. Who are you to tell 'em they have to? Keep it in your pants if ya can't take it. Women don't like being told what to do with their own bodies.

 

It's not killing a baby or murder, it's aborting a process which has not reached completion. It amounts to not a whole lot more than the menstrual cycle when unused eggs and cells are sluffed. Just because one little sperm may have entered a cell wall in an egg does not make the act of terminating the process of cell division murder.

And the act of that sperm breaching a cell wall, does not give a man who has no interest in being responsible for the life of another the power to control or prevent a woman from having control of her own body. You want control, then control that little head on the lower part of your body that seems to rule your impulses.

 

Well it's always easy to say your not murdering anyone and speak of it as a process that has not reached completion, yet if you click the link below, I find it hard to think of this as a process more than a person.

If a man and a woman have consensual sex which results in a child, and the man accepts responsibility and is willing to devote his life to raising and caring for the child, but the woman wants to terminate, is it still the womans choice?

 

the EARTH has a population problem there isn't enough room or recourses for everyone, and as far as abortion i don't want the government controlling my body, it's not like women want abortions, and a point that i think that many overlook is that sometimes people become pregnant who are not in the physical condition to have a baby, i think it's immoral to say that they should have to,

also i think people can be against abortion and also pro-choice, i have a friend who is, he understands that i's none of his business,

bottom line:
if you don't like abortion
then don't have one

 

Until men are capable of carrying a baby to term in their bodies, yes it is still a woman's choice.

 

I think the vehemence and effort put into anti-abortion questions should be targetted towards preventing wars,famine and grave diseases. Perhaps there would be solutions for those problems already and the world would be so prosperous that no woman would ever consider an abortion.
