If the former then in what period (a day a week a year?)
If the later then no, no it doesn't. The most you could pull off a single phase domestic UK installation is 23Kw (nominal, in reality 24, in reality reality probably about 40 if it was less than a few min) or 2 electric showers and a kettle, off a yank installation its between 6 and 12, depending on just how bad it is.
FWIW 97Kwh would cost about £10, so if your talking about any period longer than a month then its a bargain

This was all rhetoric BTW because I looked it up. The stats I can find say the PS3 draws 200w, which means it would need to be left on continuously for 20 days and 5 hours to consume 97Kwh, this number suggests that the stat you found is some sort of estimated consumption per year.

I don't think you can run linux on it if the firmware is anywhere near up-to-date because they decided to nerf that particular feature, unless you can do a factory reset or some shit, which thinking about it you probably can.

 

ps3 slim doesnt run linux as far as i know.
thats why i was talking about putting it on my fat once it gets fixed.

 

I've got it in my head that they nuked that in a previous firmware update, so unless you havent been online with it for 6 months then you can't, unless I'm wrong.
