yeah, exactly. it's just clarifying a scene. and in a lot of instances, someone's ethnicity DOES change the paradigm of a situation somewhat. a white guy getting pissed off at someone jokingly calling him a ****** would make little to no sense, no would it? unless he's a nazi. in which case, that would be really funny.
true, kc... its all funny but i think its gonna take about ten thousand years to laugh at alot of this stuff... when we are all the same pale color greenish blue
exactly. and I am not south african, so why am I expected to know anything about your history. My point is, the lables are constantly being changed. So you (being from Africa) could maybe share your insight instead of coming across so aggressive. I don't like to offend anyone. AS a "lay white person" I'm asking. I don't feel as though I'm "white" I am actually indonesian/dutch .... I have to accept this "label" too..... and I don't identify with it. I can tell you about the voyageur though.
You American's are too hung up on what kind of people are in your country. In the UK we don't call black people "African-British", we call them British. We don't use peoples nationality to define their ethnicity. We define their ethnicity on what they are: Black, White/Caucasian, Asian, et cetera.
 that's the most hilarious thing I've ever heard! I'm calling all white people "orangish pinkoes" from now on!
Yeah, maybe. The English are bastards. They have no decency in their bones, let alone their brain. Stupid bastards. And to blame England for America's flaws is quite...stupid. You certainly didn't get the idea of the KKK from England. Perhaps America inherited their stupidity though.
yeah, it's way too far past the expiration date for the usa to blame it's stinkiness on anyone else. i say there should be a 100 year statute of limitations on blaming anyone else for your shit.
Because everybody in America is in the KKK, afterall. Good lord, everyone chill the fuck out with the generalizations. A group of people does not make an entire country "flawed." I am American but I am NOT my country.
Our recent experience here in New England with the likes of Louise Woodward and Neil Entwistle suggests you may not be too far off base :H Hotwater
Hahaha! One English person amongst the many American killers. Looks like they're being dragged into it aswell. I'm so glad I'm not English.
I never said "everybody in America is in the KKK". That's abit of a generalisation for you to think so.
Sorry, it just seemed kind of strange for you to bring up the KKK as a flaw of the entire country. There are bad eggs in every country, but you can't let that mar your vision of the entire picture.
If it's not a flaw of the entire country, what part of the country is it a flaw of? Racism is everywhere in the U.S, not just the South.
