A majority of school shooters have been white males, but not all. There have been a number of non-white and even female school shooters.
School Shooters Who Are Not White Males
But I don't think race and/or gender are the most important variables. A majority of white males aren't violent. If we look at the perpetrators more closely, there is usually a pattern of marginality. Nicholas Cruz was an orphan with a history of violence and disruptive behavior. His brother had been committed to a mental facility, and his appearance was strikingly uncomely. The couple who took him in said he longed for a girlfriend. When I saw his photo, I thought immediately of Dylan Roof, who shot up the church in Charleston, who also looked like a doofus.

Yeah the media needs to make him disappear. Just let us know when he's executed.

It was not an issue with me...until i read about how blacks do the most crimes somewhere on this thread.....and had to say something...otherwise, I would not have even mentioned it or thought about it...i just don't understand how every post about crimes and some political threads always have to center on the blacks.

Is it diversionary and divisionary again? I know there is much crime in the some black communities, also.....

Very good point. I'm afraid however that the term marginality would be hard to monitor everyone that is marginal. Not everyone marginal is going to kill. People will complain you're profiling.

I didn't derail the thread. It's still on topic as far as I'm aware.

It was Moonglow who brought race into this when she said:

And I demonstrated that this is not a white-people-only issue. If you wanna talk about mass shootings, why not talk about the ones that take place outside of schools? How about that church shooting in Tennessee? The shooter was black. But I'm not going to harp on and on about black people being inferior because I don't believe it to be so.

Men and boys are more likely to be put on SSRIs and brain altering psychotropic drugs. Many shooters have that in common. Why can't we go after big pharma as well? Probably because the media everyone listens to is bought, sold, and subsidized by big pharma.

I was merely speaking Kerri's language of Social Justice Barbarianism to see how she really felt about white people. Now we know. People like her are many in number, and they feel that certain races are inferior.

I think it starts when someone starts calling someone a racist, who's political views differ from theirs. Personally all of my black friends are great decent hardworking fantastic people. They have great kids. More polite and respectful than many white kids I come across.

They hate what the ones that are giving thier race a bad name. They don't deny that they have a problem. They do like the rest of us. Stay the hell away from them.

I have black friends. I have always had black friends. I have no problems with them....I get a long fine with any of them that I know.

Yes, many are wonderful human beings....like I always said on this forum...there are good eggs and bad eggs in every race, religion, political party, etc., etc......obviously.

    I am not a racist.

I have to wonder do people even comprehend what they read.....or just not listening to anyone else anymore? Seems to be a problem...No one is really listening...and if they are...they don't hear.

Where on eath did I say that^^ you should not ever put words into my mouth nor try to explain what I think.

No I agree that people with a violent criminal conviction should not be allowed to own a firearm, just as I advocate just common sense around firearms, such as knowing how to handle them correctly and how to be safe around them.

Actually it is not fallacius, as it was introduced to put things in perspective, to call it fallacius is to claim that the statistics are wrong.
Therefore I don not buy into the argument that just because you don't like the point it proofs it is fallacius.

Well I’m not surprised we are getting the same anti-gun control bull shit.

But as I already know from numerous thread over 17 years here it all comes down to one basic thought– I don’t want it, because I don’t want it.

Once again after many pages they still have not produced one substantive argument against having prudent gun control – NOTHING (again).

    It can't be done

It’s too difficult to do, so we shouldn’t try

    I don’t like it

I don’t want it done, I don’t want it done, I DON’T WANT IT DONE

But there is something interesting here – many are attacking law enforcement for not going after those with guns that make threats against others.

The thing is that many argue that one of the main reasons they have guns is because they want to be able to kill law enforcement officers if they so desire.

It has been said to me repeatedly by many gun lobbyists – they have guns in the main or specifically so they can kill the police, politicians and anyone else they politically disagree with.

Many have told me that that is the reason why they want ‘weapons of war’ not just a shotgun, they ‘need’ those much more dangerous type of guns so that if they go up against such people as the police, that if things don’t go their way they can try and kill as many of their political opponents as possible.

Now until someone actually goes on a killing spree it’s hard to say what threats should be acted on but if people make such threats then wouldn’t it be best to be on the side of caution?

I hope the FBI is taking note.

This is dead on. People don’t want gun control because they like their guns. It’s not about protection, it’s not about a well earned militia protecting against a tyrannical government. It’s just about a fetish to mask a personal insecurity.

There is no other way to see if you’re opposed to even discussing gun control - this freedom is more important than kids getting gunned down.
