59--20. Uh-huh. There are STILL 4 or 5 first stringers not playing for Oregon. They did it anyway. The players are obviously very important,

BUT---the system is equally as important. Fast-fast-and faster tires 'em out by somewhere in the third quarter. It's next man up, when a

player goes down. I think anyone can see Oregon is a very fun team to watch. Glad you guys enjoyed the game-------GO DUCKS!!!!!!

i lived in a place that had wallpaper that was a pattern of ducks on it. just about the time that there was a song: "ducks ducks, ducks on the wall. those ducks are beginning to move". i don't remember the rest of the song, or what it was about. i just remember that being the chorus of it.

i lived for a year or so, in a quad on hillyard street. in 1980/81. in eugene, just a couple of blocks from the u of o campus. they had a wonderful student union building. science, engineering and art departments and libraries. i met asamov there, and that guy who's name i forget, who wrote black man of the nile. also damon knight and kate williams. experienced a play based on something they wrote, where i sat, with the rest of the audience, on the floor in the middle of the room, surrounded by soft sculpture, which was also worn by the actors, who performed, not on a stage in front of us, but all around and involving everyone.

i always thought how much more wonderful it would be, if they, and other universities, didn't have to waste half their budget on their athletic department.

what game is that? nooooooo its been almost 40 years since i lived there and somewhere around ten since i last owned a tv. you go ahead and enjoy to your hearts content. i just have different pleasures.

Good to see the Steelers out just so the trash-talker I work with is done for the season. Also....I'm glad to see the Lions lose tonight too. I'd rather see Dallas go to Green Bay than the Lions after last week.

 

come on, the steelers being out means the ravens advanced. costs WAY outweigh the benefits in this one.

 

National Championship=Oregon vs Ohio, 5:30 Monday the 12th. Interesting trivia= The first National college basketball championship involved

Oregon and was won by Oregon. The opponent- OHIO STATE!

Teams appear to be evenly matched. We'll see.
