We are having Bud Light. But! Only because for me it's low carb and not low alcohol. I had the same dilemma with Miller Lite too until someone told me no it doesn't mean light alcohol, it's low carb. I love my low carb beers atm. Miss was drinking the cider by she's now gone to bed. And I didnt get a hamburger I got a fried chicken and deep fried pickles meal hehe and it wasn't much but I'm sooooo full because the meals on the plane weren't much. I'll probably pike after this soon. updates from the little girls room. >.>

Why would you want to do that? Those people don't seem to be having fun. I went to one haunted house once and I didn't like it at all though.

I hate going through haunted houses but I absolutely love working in them!

I like to be the scarer not the scared.

 

Today we went to the mobile vet for a rabies shot for Sam. The moment I got home and out of the car, I heard Sam MEOWING LOUD at us. lol Little did he know, I had a shot with his name on it. hehe

I got him on the back porch with a can of salmon, and I gave him that rabies shot snappy quick.

I'm so glad that's done...we're good to go for a year.

 

I think my former sister in law said she could buy rabies vaccine at the feed store. She used to give her cats and dogs injections. It was so long ago...I don't really remember where she got it.

You can buy that and take it home, Lynn? I never hear of that around here.

 

Aeri, I think maybe he isn't technically supposed to do that. Through the years, he has given countless numbers of our cats shots so he knows I've seen him give close to 100 shots. He doesn't give us the little metal thingie to prove they had the rabies shot but he keeps a record and sends out a card when its time for your pet to get their shot.

Anyway, a few years back when it was time I tried! Then, I saw it was just going to be too much to get Sam and Freckles (rip) in their cages and up there to where he is. Both cats were flipping out in a bad way and I couldn't see where he would be able to give them a shot, stop them from running away and we'd all get back home in one piece. So, I took Mama up there and together we stand in the line prepared to beg for a 2 shots. He is just a wonderful, kind man, and he sold us the shots. That was in 2010.

Yeah, I pulled the "help the little old lady and her not-young daughter" card.

Seed and Feed stores no longer sell rabies shots. Honestly, it doesn't make sense to me...people just want a rabies shot for their animal so they won't get rabies!

Not being able to easily buy a rabies shot is just another one of those things I'll never understand.

I don't understand why doctors won't give penicillin anymore. When I had pneumonia and still had (and have) a pus pocket in my throat a week later, why in the world the doctor wouldn't give me a script for penicillin is beyond me. You would have thought I was asking for a shot of heroin. good grief

 

I don't understand not selling rabies vaccines. There have been at least 4 rabies quarantines in my part of the county since Summer.

 

I just checked it out...and my county has had 12 cases of rabies this year.


There was a situation around here about a month ago ago where 2 humans got rabies from their cat. :yikes: The cat had tangled with a raccoon.

there are a handful places in toronto, usually chinese restaurants, that will serve alcohol after hours. you order cold tea, and they will serve you booze in a tea pot. pretty clever.

I bought an American flag at the Walmart. Everyone says "guns and guns" I saw BB guns that's all. Hehe.

You can buy real hunting rifles at walmart but not handguns.
