Well these sisters will never forget the time 2 random Germans and 1 Aussie walked into their pub.

They got all our details. They wanna travel. They have EVERYTHING!! They seem keen. I dunno whatevs you know? But these two sisters, they have the world to go see. And I'm happy to try and help. This is exactly what we look for. No food. Just drinks. Just get drunk. Best night ever.

Lord knows it was time for some fun around here...the basement is as flooded as I've ever seen it. good grief its awful. but there is nothing to do at this point because it just keeps raining. Well, its drizzling; and I know from past experience that until it quits it does no good to sweep it out since more and more and MORE rise in its place. Also as long as there is anything happening outside, when the water is pushed outside onto the patio it is so full and saturated, almost as much comes back in as is pushed out.

Mama down there helping makes me just want to :bomb: . I know she is trying to help, and perhaps she even thinks she is helping...but she gets in the middle of WHATEVER anybody (me) is doing and you have to work around her or shout to get out of the way...which does NO GOOD. She will also get her little bitty feelings hurt. No matter which way it goes, I'm planning on a trip to the liquor store before I go to work with a broom and my giant squeegy.

 

Ok, I'm not through fussing. lol This past week I know a fuse blew because suddenly a plug-in quit working that we use all the time. I go down stairs to the 4 (FOUR!) fuse boxes, thinking I'll just quickly replace the one that's smoky/apparently blown. WELL...everything looked fine! I start replacing questionable ones, and still nothing is working. So, I go back downstairs and replace more...I do that 3 times. :dizzy2:

Then I decide we need to go to White-Jones for some more fuses since we don't have enough to replace all the ones I want to replace. We get some, but my dumbass doesn't think to look and MAKE SURE it will fit. I don't even realize that there are different types of screw in fuses. There are, and some of those I got won't fit.

Yesterday I just KNOW the son will see something I can't see, so I get him to look at the 32 fuses down there. He replaces a few he also thinks are questionable; but like me, he sees nothing that is obvious. helpmejesus

and last but certainly not least, he and I discussed how so many have been replaced at this point that we have NO IDEA what has been replaced and what hasn't...but the one thing we do know is that that damn plug-in is still NOT working. :wall:

We've had to redo a couple at our house, Lynn.

 

OHHH I don't even want to eat today.
I'm scared I put on a touch of weight.
I've been trying to be good and eating salads every two days. But, I'm always getting told they're probably just as bad calorie wise... I still think they have to be better digestion wise. =\

 

The day after Halloween I started to see Christmas ads. We go from demons to Santa in one day.

You loose more weight by eating even if it's just a little bit. An empty stomach means your body is going to hold on to the fat you have. Same response as any animal who knows when you will eat next. Nature is tough.

 

We now in Asheville.

We went in the Bristol Motorspeedway tour and were driven around track at a whopping 50mph. man that was steep, when we got to speed you couldn't feel it as much but Stand still omg. It was insane. And we got to go into the corporate suites of mr. Bruton Smith. I parked my arse in every leather lounge chair he had up there. I gotta come back to watch a race it was cool and the football field in the middle looked so tiny.

Now we are at the hotel. It's pretty swank and I bought a big box to ship home my souvenirs. Both suitcases are now really full.

 

Shipping home the souvenirs...that's a great idea!

 

It won't be cheap to ship to Germany. A lady in front of me at the post office the other day paid $27 send a letter to France with the slowest shipment option. But I have ordered things on Ebay from Europe and the shipping is not that expensive.
