ive always called those wimpy electric one whipper snippers.....the gas ones weed wackers....brush cutter is reserved for straight shaft gear drive with blade

its usually funny to watch a weed wacker owner use a brush cutter for the first time because they generally rotate counter-clockwise instead of clockwise ...it takes a while to adjust when youre used to clockwise flex shaft drive ones

Lol wow I've never heard of an American calling it a whipper snipper and weed wacket is adorable. :D we had the snippers in Australia but it was the actual brand name from memory, the tool itself was an "edger". I have a petrol one and I love using it. :D when I am weeding or in the garden, and I see bugs... I destroy everything with the thing. :D

BBAD Was Correct, Straight Shaft With Gears Is A Brushcutter And You Can Use A Circular

Saw Blade On Them.....*not approved by manufacturer*.

When You Say "Down South" I Assume You Mean Victoria Or Tasmania, In Which Case

You Would Have A "Bent Rod" And A "Flexible Shaft", Both Of Which Are Next To Useless

When It ComesTo Doing A "Man's Job"........ ;)

    Cheers Glen.

I am up at this time in the am and have to wash 2 loads of clothes the moment the sun comes up (or shortly afterward) and then I have a very important birthday party to attend from 4 - 6 for my niece's 1 yr old boy. I'm going to try to get mama to come too but she is already wanting to back out, talking about having trouble dressing with her wrist splint and "you just plan on going". (my "niece" is a soon-to-be 19 yr old that has called me Aunt since she could talk, but we aren't really blood kin)

Mama and I go to the grocery store every week, to the doctor appointments and other places I can't think of right how. :) So, I don't understand why she won't go socialize anywhere. I've pointed out that "you get dressed every day", and it is like that sentence is spoken in a foreign language every time. We would be sitting at a church rec room...just her kind of environment. :D I feel like I'm rehearsing my plea for her to come (again) tomorrow. lol mercysakes

I never thought once that taking care of an elderly person would be an easy thing to do, much less to do this for my mother...but its odd the things that I see her having "issues" with.

She will be 96 December 21st. Doesn't that sound surreal? It does to me.

hell its hard to remain a young chic myself what with my mother aging like this. ;)

My whipper snipper is a gas one. I have never owned an electric one. They do not have the same power and are rather useless when trimming two acres, hang of an extension cord needed. :)

I think today I am going to have a goof off day. Feels right! :)

i also like whipper snipper. we call it a weedwhacker. ours is electric, does ok, its a ryobi with the interchangeable rechargable battery, so we can have one charging while we are draining the other. we got some blade heads for it, they work great, until your neighbor "helps" and breaks the plastic because hes never used them. i prefer them because i hate dealing with the string.

friend of mine had her 4th baby girl. she needs an intestinal surgery so shes in the NICU at childrens hospital. she was 6 lbs 5 oz. friend should have quit smoking, and eaten better, but there are none so deaf as those who will not hear. all her girls have issues. they eat shit food, live off the government dole (like, for years, not just to get on their feet) and they make the most moronic choices for their family. these are friends that have pushed everyone else away, they get on my nerves really bad, but we are the most stable friends they have, and the only way we have been able to maintain any kind of friendship is by not falling into their trap. they dont get to stay over (and overstay their welcome in doing so) we dont give them things that we werent ready to get rid of completely (lest they get left behind during a sudden move) we tend to provide knowledge. try this recipe. freeze meals like this. dont buy over-processed crap and wonder why your kids are screwy. they still dont listen. they really shouldnt have any more littles, but they want a boy. ::roll eyes:: i want a girl, but if i dont catch one next time i think it will be more practical to adopt.

oh, Oz is cutting his first teeth. hes 3 months old now :) getting ready for mashed potatoes for thanksgiving.

My partner is not the greatest person in the kitchen. I'm sitting in my bath at the moment and I swear she's hit that microwave button at least a hundred times all I'm hearing is beep beep beep and I'm like =\ what the hell is she doing? Do I ask??? Noooo I'll just let her do what she's doing.. finding that beeping annoying though. :D

not really much on this clip of MK show the other night, had to keep my storage down or it jams up and needs to delete all. but the opener sounds better on my phone that it was live, least for the first few songs.. a sound tech was sitting on the stairs next to me with a fancy tablet, I could see it was for sound. after he left sound seemed to improve or I was just getting more drunk on my 50$ drink ..
