It is infinitely better than Keystone, Coors, Miller Lite and all the other cheap masses. I have friends that live off PBR so once you build up a hearty taste for it, you appreciate it. While I'd rather drink a Sweetwater 420 or one of the Magic Hat Spring Variety Packs (No. 9 or Circus Boy) it's just too expensive. When you are throwing steaks on the grill with a bunch of your dumbass friends, that means its time to get drunk and get it done fast. I think the average keg is over 200 beers (conservative) so for a $60 keg of PBR, you're getting a cup for under 30 cents.

Sorry, I just have to defend the greatness from Milwaukee.

If we are talking about Milwaukee Greatness it is ALL ABOUT the Milwaukee's Best Ice lol

Around the same price as PBR but so much more drinkable ime and in the opinion of all of my friends

Blue Moon is delicious as well.. especially when accompanied with a slice of orange..

i worked at a restaurant that had over 70 micros and imports.. and a total of 100 beers.. i was never a huge beer fan until i worked there.. it was nice to be able to try so many different beers and find my liking

No homo but I really wish I had an older brother like you. You know your shit.:cheers2:

Milwaukee's Best is pretty bad. Went to a party that was full of it one time and was definitely not impressed. I'd probably drink it again but I'd buy PBR over it any day.

Joker, you have no idea how annoying it is to grab a Blue Moon and find no oranges in the fridge. It always happens after the grocery store a couple miles away closes at night and I'm forced to drive 15 minutes to a Wal-Mart just to get a couple oranges.

For dirt cheap beer, natty wins

Though if we can bring malt liquor into it, St. ides wins

Magic Hat makes great beers all the way around. I'm a big fan of their No. 9. I drank several Spring Variety packs earlier this year and I don't even remember which ones I drank during the fall last year.

I nearly forgot about a beer that was really popular for Beer Pong with some people. Schlitz, Shitz, whatever you want to call it. Given the option to drink Schlitz, Natty or Coors I'd probably find my way off the nearest bridge.

I'm thinking about getting a half BBQ chicken, half Hawaiian pizza to compliment the Captain I'm drinking on.

Has anyone here heard of Barbarossa rum? My friends typically used it as a cheaper Captain substitute and I always thought it was pretty decent at $17 a half gallon but I can't find it in Arizona.

speaking of bbq pizza.. i created and added a pizza at one place i worked at.. called the Flaming Rooster(in the kitchen we called it the "gay cock").. it was bbq mixed with Srirachi(rooster) sauce.. and topped with buffalo chicken.. mozz.. celery... and when it was done.. drizzled ranch over the top.. fuckin amazing.. but it killed your ass later

If you like Hoegaarden and Blue Moon-try some Duvel Green (probably my favorite summer beer) http://lewbryson.blogspot.com/2008/09/duvel-green-draft.htm

or some Victory Golden Monkey (a beautiful summer beer with 3 distinct flavors-when you first sip it, as your drinking it, and a great aftertaste). As the temperature cools I really enjoy Meradsous 8 and Troegs Mad Elf in the fall and winter-these beer warm you when it's cold out.

to answer the question, beer and vodka are my favorites, I've had some really shitty experiences with whiskey so it always makes me hurl, just the thought of it makes me shudder

vodka has never bothered me, though. and whiskey isn't so bad as long as I have a chaser
