Alex Jones and the coming Witch Hunt

Imagine if you took someone the left liked and told them that private companies that carried virtually all the clout had the right to ban them from their format just because they didn't like their point of view. Youtube and facebook have virtual monopolies over the dissemination of information online. But the left's okay with that...they're just like..."He can go to ulook.com and have his show there."

 

Who is the left wing equivalent of Alex Jones?

i was just talking about this yesterday - if the left had an equivalent of Alex Jones what sort of crazy conspiracy theories would they come up with?

Someone needs to cash in on the space in that market

 

There are probably left wing conspiracy theorists out there but they haven't gained traction because liberals/leftists are more capable of accepting ambiguity and complexity, whereas the right prefers simple, straightforward stories with clear narratives.

The right is more susceptible to conspiracy theories because they are so alienated by the complexities of reality.

 

Left wing conspiracies are like..

People are denying global warming so that the oil companies profit!

So, not really conspiracies at all

 

"Bakeries have the right to refuse service to gay couples"

"Social media platforms are Nazi Fascists for refusing to allow Alex Jones to post his theories."​

Yah, the left really pisses me off. Especially Roosevelt hiring millions of people to work on parks, infrastructure, campgrounds,etc , when he could have just let them fend for themselves. Assholes. To start social security against us, the real americans who didn't want it. And all those workers that want to represent themselves against so-called grievances by banding together--called unions! How dare they--workers should take what they're given and be damn glad about it. Assholes. Fuckin'pussies--can't pay your rent? Get another job! Get 2 or 3 jobs you lazy pricks!

Nope. Believe it or not, in some situations, old fashioned remedies trump technology. You can go ahead and try the tinfoil underpants, but you'll still be screwed. A cork is the solution. But it has to be threaded so that it screws in because, believe it or not, alien technology is so far advanced that screws that go into threaded holes are so far removed from them that it confounds them. Of course, getting your rectum threaded in order for it to accept a threaded cork is probably just as bad as being probed. Plus the aliens might become so frustrated that they'll just pull like hell on the cork until it comes out. Then, besides having been probed anyway, you'll also have a lifetime of using Depends to look forward to. So I'd just take the probing and be happy.

I could be the left's equivalent to Alex Jones. (Except I'm not a corporate warmonger so that might cancel me out.)

Conspiracy theories? Sure. You think planes flying into the twin towers turned them into a pile of ashes, well, that's insane and defies common sense.

The left's trust for the government is what really irks me. Well, their trust in the military industrial complex. It's so hypocritical. "We're all about peace and love and yet we trust implicitly the men whose whole lives revolve around profiteering off of war." No, they would never conspire to drag us into anything. They don't want a complicit citizenry. Drive the new Chevy Rebellion.

Yet you all trust the media that is bought and paid for. Every time someone mentions distrust of the government, it's a wild conspiracy theory to the left. We should be hunted down like witches, silenced. I mean what kind of sell-outs are you guys?!
