slightly off-topic, as im not reading all that, everyone has the right to an opinion. all opinions are as valid as another. just a lot of opinions may not be the nicest opinions ever...or something. it sounded profound in my head.
reality is simply what one comes to accept. All truth could be false, and all lies could be true. denial and gullibility are what create one's beliefs.
Of course they are, all opinions are stupid invalid because of their nature anyway. You threw out the Hitler opinion because nobody want to say, yes his opinion is equal to Dr. Kings opinions, but the fact is that opinion is subjective. Hitlers just as right to Neo Nazi's as Dr. King is to most people. For all we know, god could really hate the jews.... Thats stupid of course, there is no god, but you get the point. All opinions are equal, at least in a theoretical sense... Of course, I'm just speaking semantics, but I'm not saying you have to respect neo nazi's opinions, fuck that. Most opinions don't have as obvious of a solution rational people though.
Oddly, hitler was pretty compassionate towards animals. I mean, he supposedly treated his German Shepard better than anyone else and he poisoned her with cyanide before he committed suicide so he could be with her... nuts.
ok i dont want to talk aobut Hitler but i do want to say that I am so glad to see a teenager agreeing that most things in this world should be viewed subjectivly. I am tired of kids who think becasue it is there oppinion that it must be fact. A well thought out hypothisis is not always fact.
i do think that he was mentally ill or something. i do have a feeling that hitler wasn't soley responsible for the idea of the haulocaust
Every person has the right to have any opinion he likes. If he turns it into action, it could be wrong. When it's in the head, it's harmless. But if the opinion is voiced, we all have the right do disagree with it, especially if it's completly wrong. Yes, an opinion can be wrong. Factually or morally. You could think that 1+1=3 but we would all be right to say you're a moron for thinking that. You could think that the Earth is flat and is carried on the backs of elephants despite the fact that it has been seen from space. Knock yourself out, but these opinions are based on ignorance. As for Hitler not wanting to kill all Jews... I just hope it's nothing but ignorance that leads you to have this opinion.
Heh, sorry if I was too blunt... I can't help it. I've seen myself wrong often enough to learn everything's subjective.
Those aren't opinions, those are misconceptions. An opinion is something subjective, not a misconception of something factual. If someones factually right or wrong its a conception. If someones talking morality, its all subjective so all must be taken with a grain of salt.
that's your oppinion and I respect it. I'm not saying he didn't want it. I don't know, I wasn't there. But he didn't say he wants it, which makes it an oppinion that that was his oppinion. I was replying to Soulrebel saying Hitler's oppinion was the Jews were to the route of all problems. I'm trying to say how do you know that was the oppinion to compare it with the peace on earth stuff.
acctually it wasnt only Hitler...as was common beleif back in those days [well scince from like for almost forever] was the Jews controlled the money, sop if your country was in a depression, who fault must it be... THATS one of the reasons Hitler came to his conclusion...but of course we all know that complete balderdash about Jewish people...
Swing kids in Germany...and joinging the Young Nazis and suicide...its bad...specially when teh characters younger brother at the end starts yelling "Swing Heil" but he is crying so it sounds really funny also the beginning starts with a written prolouge, and we watched it with a substutite teacher, and she read it to us like we were in grade 2
