I tried a blue one once, never again... It had sea salt in it so I thought oohh ok this could be good... However it conditioned my dreads and left them all loose!! Was crap :(

Edit: Ohh nuu xD I will try it, gonna bet some tea tree oil and bicarb tomorrow :) Can it just be baking bicarb?

:D I only tried it once and my dreads were quite young... So don't take my word for it lol If your dreads are mature I'm sure you'll be fine lol. I've heard Sqeaky Green and Soak 'n' Float are good ones for dreads but again I don't know much about lush, I don't really like the company as a whole xD AH well ^^ I'm gonna do a deep cleanse tomorrow :D trip to tescos and holland and barrett is in order :D

Why is it that everyone has a different list of lush bars that are "good for dreadlocks." It would be nice to know how much of this is from experience / word of mouth / information from lush, because it's beginning to sound a lot like every lush assistant will have a different opinion of what products are good for dreads and may just be talking out of their collective arse.

People sure do talk a lot about LUSH. Is it an UK thing? I've never seen it, nor had I heard about it before I started to see UK'ers talking about it in communities online. I hear they smell wonderful though.

I did check them out and they have SLS, but not everyone cares about that.

Ahh good :p A whole tub does seem alot xD

Yea I think Lush is a UK thing, and yea the shop smells heavenly :p Halfway down the street you can smell the shop. However the smell gets really annoying after a while, and the products I bought from there once stunk, stunk in the fridge and in my room :( Got fed up of the smell so I palmed them off on someone else xD

Was just reading up about SLES- Sounds horrible!! Can cause cancer!! Why the fug are they putting that in products?!!??!?? I'm discusted!! And horrified at the fact that soem of the stuff I use has SLS and SLES in it :(

RIGHT from here on I am going AU NATURAL!! (If my Sanex shower creme has SLS in it.. oohh I'll be mad!! <3 Sanex!!) *Sigh*

Edit: SANEX HAS SLES!! ARG and my toothpaste AND my dreadheadhq shampoooooo :'( Dr Bonners and bicarb it is...

anything can cause cancer if it tries hard enough.

i find it amusing when people find out that too much oxygen is deadly, or too much water etc. what i mean is,, sls in small quantities aint worth frettin about.

If you have a cake making cupboard you are morally obliged to make me a cake.

nah, i dont understand it either, but im willing to be ignorant. what will be will be and all that.

i can see why people would wanna play safe and be healthy and all that, but at the same time, im happy to see how life plays out for me, without worrying about the crap i consume
