    it's stupid and derogatory in a prepubescent, schoolyard way. and no, no one thinks they're speaking latin when they use it.

    use the word *homosexual* in it's proper form then? interesting because *hetero* isn't considered derogatory. the gay community i'm familiar with call themselves homo's.
