i only sleep with my kitty..& i love it when she curls up on my chest
but i've had gf's who slept with stuffed animals & i cant tell ya how many times i've woke up & found em tucked securely under my arm..
my sis when we were younger slept with a 4 foot ta;l stuffed gorila..it was bigger then her at the time..i think she probly still has it

i wouldn't call it immature, but i'd call it lonely.

 

That's so terrible ... i wouldn't even want to be with someone who was that controlling and made me burn something i love ... i'd pick the blankie and tell them to hit the road!

 

My kittie sleeps with me too ... he likes to lay on my chest and cuddle up against my neck ... i love him to pieces!

My lil bro has a 4ft tall lion that he sleeps with ... the thing is ragged and worn because its the same one i slept with when i was his age, then i passed it on to him ... it's just so cute to see him cuddled up with it at the age of 11. It's one of those things that he'd only want his sis knowing about ...

i sleep with bandage bear named bandage bear, and teddy named teddy, and a bear named rusty. used to sleep with the rag ive had since i was a baby called quilty but it got too delicate so its been put away.

 

I think it's rather cute to still sleep with your stuffed animals! I don't have any of mine anymore. When my husband and I were first married, I had a little nook in the house where I kept all of them on display. They were all from my childhood. Well for some reason, one of my male cats decided to mark them all. The smell was horrific and I was never able to get it out. I ended up tossing out the stuffed animals, sadly.

I don't sleep with anything now but a bunch of pillows and my husband. But if we are out of town without the kids due to a business function of his, which happens about twice a year, I take a piece of clothing that each of my three children have recently worn and sleep with them under my nose so that I can smell their scents. It makes me feel near them.

I used to sleep with my kitten too... Janis... I posted several sad threads like a year ago about how she died and everything... I miss her, she was the cutest thing in this world, cutter than Mootoonoo..

its one of those big star ones..its more like a spotlight

and then in the other rooms (haha yeah, i am a nerd) ones a moon and the others are plain...

i bet the rainbow one was neat...

it comforts me knowing that if i wake up in the middle of the night, and something really bad is playing like rap music or something i can always change it. i hate having to get up and change it. ill never get back to sleep. and i cant just leave it on rap. ill have bad dreams
