All brilliant suggestions really. I mean that. However, I have used pot for pain control. I dislike narcotics and only take them sparingly, like when I have a kidney stone or goof up one of my aging knees. So I use a LOT of pot during those times. After smoking daily for a while you can load up on a binge to the point you saturate your system. You reach a point where you don't seem to catch a buzz no matter how much you smoke. It's the same weed, so why has it stopped working? In the 70s we called this "Toking yourself Straight". I don't know the scientific shit behind this phenomenon, but I have experienced it. But even when you're in this state the pain killing capacity of the pot is amazing. Also, you can get addicted to pot. I know that's heresy to some folks around here. But consider that people get addicted to gambling (I know, I wait behind them to buy gas while they work their "system" on the lottery scratch-offs) and people get addicted to porno (Problem?) and people get addicted to school and people get addicted to Narcotics Anonymous meetings. So surely marijuana can be just as addictive. Consider the disposition of any regular user the week a month-long dry spell starts. However, a week should be all you need to get over the worth of your pot thing. By then you will have enough normal time to figure out what to do with the time you used to waste getting wasted. For me it's sex and gardening. You should also consider insulating yourself from your supplier. He will feel the vacuum in his wallet fast as your habit diminishes. He will call with tales of sticky buds and the scent of a gang raped skunk (ALWAYS works on me) and maybe even a really good deal. This will happen within days of your letting him know you have to lay off. You could possibly dodge his temptations by saying you have to piss clean, and REAL clean for something legal or otherwise vital. Just say you'll call him right after the test and you plan on getting a new bong and does he think any hash will be around in a month. Why burn the bridge totally down? If you make 30 days pot free, you have to start all the way over again to get back to being a daily over-toker. if you are wise enough to diet during this time, the released fat will carry even more of the saturated weed components out of your system turning you into an absolute lightweight. The advantage is that you will be able to get ripped good on $100 per ounce schwag. If you are questioning your addiction, you probably have a better handle on things than you give yourself credit for. While the first step in a 12 step recovery program is admitting that you have a problem, what if a pre-step is what you have going on. the "Am I an addict at all" questions INSTEAD of assuming you are one. That assumption is what makes rehab into a HUGE business in America. What if it's a scam? What if addiction of some sort is normal for us all? What if addiction is all in your head? What if addiction will never be "cured"? What if you quit for a week and then see if you can make it for a month? What if you only make 2 weeks? Do you beat yourself up and call yourself a failure and an addict? Do you then throw in the towel and seek a rail of heroin? Or do you simply accept that you will likely relapse many times in your life, it doesn't mean the end of days? Personally, when I have to give up pot to "study" for a piss test in order to sell out and take some lame corporate contract, I substitute the time by seducing my wife. Sex is way better than pot! Of course you can become psychologically addicted to smoking weed, but who gives a fuck? Most of us are gonna continue smoking, whether we're addicted or not, so it's irrelevent. Marijuana is something I don't mind being addicted to. Also, I disagree with you; Marijuana pwns sex:sifone:
Smoking to much I did not realize there was such a thing, I effin love my weed, and even though its does cost a lil bit more then i like now a days around here i still get it and still love it.
