How can alllll of you eat mushrooms, yet only most of you are tripping?
If your talking about the cubes and blue meanies that grow naturally down there, well they just suck to begin with, and more resemble being drunk anyway. Used to eat them right in the field, and drank tea out of a cauldron with trash bags of them we picked dumped in. Probably the most epileptic mushrooms I've ever had.

Haha, seriously they are very heavy physically, lots of yawning and just generally blurry, but I don't know if it's vasoconstriction or something else, but they just feel so flashy. They give the word "buzz" a whole new meaning, and not necessarily, a good one

All the mushrooms I've ever had made me yawn a lot.

 

All psychedelics I've ever had (with the exception of smoked DMT) made me yawn a lot, but not like the ones growing in Florida.. Could hardly take a single breath without it happening, haha

 

Oh, haha. Yea, it wasn't like that. Enough so that I remember once after eating a bunch of shrooms at a show at this park coming home and looking up "why do mushrooms make you yawn?" but yea.. not that much.

 

Your experienced with opiates, right? I mean, I thought I saw you posting in a Methadone thread.. So if you are, then I would compare it to the early stages of withdrawal, after you've been using for a number of years, when one of the first signs that it's coming is that you yawn so profoundly and so often that if makes your jaw pop and hurts like hell (to add insult to injury, lol). It was like that!

 

I don't see the need to be condescending, but whatever. Um.. I live on an island. That might be a redneck or high school kid thing inland near the cow fields, but all the ones I have bought have been grown indoors from spores. Penis envy and some other varieties I forget the name of.. I'm not a fungi expert, I eat them maybe a couple of times a year. But an eighth is typically 1-3 shrooms, not those tiny little ones that grow in the fields.

 

Yep... totally know what you mean. Every time I've come off of suboxone for one (was on it three times), even if I didn't actually get sick, sick I'd yawn and yawn and yawn...

and yea I thought of opiates when I read the comments here about yawning and mushrooms. And God, I hate that feeling when you absolutely cannot stop yawning.

 

I always yawn on mushrooms. Kind of towards the beginning I always want to sit against a tree with a sherlock pipe, just chillin and yawning like an elf or something.

Its nice that when you travel the world more people will know english.. thats pretty rare. Its helpful if you are lost...cause in a group people... someone usually knows some english.

Travel from Vietnam to Africa? chances of them knowing the language.. slim.. english... higher.

 

When I've yawned on mushrooms I must say it's a MUCH MUCH MUCH better feeling then the beginning of dopesickness yawns. Totally different because one is good and one is... not good.

 

I've never experience being dopesick, but it doesn't sound fun. There's not a whole lot of h down here seeing as how pretty much anyone can go get hundreds of pills. I wouldn't fuck with it anyway, I'm sure I'd love it. I've taken roxi and oxy at times, but I always spaced it out because that shit feels too good.

 

ohhh yea... you're in FL. of course there is. around here ppl that start doing oc's and op's usually end up doing bags because bags are soooooo much cheaper. it just doesn't make sense to do the pills here anyways.

Yeah, I read it. Yeah I mean it's here and all but not like up there. You can find most anything here very easily, and in pure form, but that drug raises eyebrows like oh hell no. And with the pill mills, what's the point. From what I've heard orlando has a big scene though. I only know one person here who went from pills to powder and she became a hooker to pay for her habit.

 

Yea... here we got stuff all over the place from Bmore, Philly and Jersey.

And about raising eyebrows and what not... you have no idea how many ppl I used to run into who would be doing 3 or 4 or 5 80's a day and talkin bout how terrible bags are...

Then two months (or less) later... "can you get me some bags..this shit is too expensive?" -kinda funny considering imo there's no huge difference btwn oc's and dope. Not when it comes down to it...

In any case... yea LUCKILY I never had to do anything like that or the other things I mentioned HOWEVER it is WAYYY TOO EXPENSIVE. who the hell can keep up the money to continue doing that long term? One reason (amongst many) why it's not a viable thing to be doing long term... some of the ppl I started off with who were working full time and just doing a little are now, still, in prison for like 50 counts of armed robbery.
