Because on average they live 25% closer to the arctic circle. Factoid. That's also why Americans are hotter.

Look the cold hard truth is some very ruthless sociopathic megalomaniacs have gained total control of this country.

And we don't know how to stop them, their methods are too deeply embeded in our day to day, and we don't even know who's pulling what strings anytime anything happens.

What the fuck would you do? You'd be just as powerless as we've become. You're no stronger than us. If anything, you're less strong cause we've been having to fight for so fucking long.

You forigners can hate us as much as you want. But bottem line is it doesn't matter. You haven't the first fucking clue what it's like to live with this shit. You see such a small sliver of the spectrum of life here... but you take the bullshit you're told and make your own little reality of it... just like the americans you parrot your own propaghanda at.

    lazy? one word - siesta

violent, well, world wars one and two seem to have done some good, i suppose - unless you count the balkans, which no one does . . .

I think for a valid comparison we really need a single country that embodies all three characteristics. Now I suppose if we take Spain as a representative example for fat and lazy, we could maybe make a case for violent, but we would kinda have to go back to the Spanish revolution, wouldn't we?

Germans might be fat and violent, however they also have a reputation for industry. As my dad used to tell me after his Air Force stint in Wiesbaden, the German housewives always wash the ceiling every night before retiring.

See, I don't think this is as easy as it might seem...even the Balkans, should we care to count them, don't present an easy case for laziness - unless you know something I don't. However I suppose we could fudge a bit and refer to the entire EU in order to conglomerate the three requisite factors from different countries therein - but that would be dangerously close to over-generalizing, and we certainly wouldn't want to be guilty of THAT, now would we?

    how are we qualifying laziness?

    by hours worked?
    amount of leisure time?
    leisure activities available?
    state supported laziness?

As broadly as possible, I would say, so as to make our point more easily.

ok, well America does not qualify for least hours worked, most amount of leisure time, nor state supported laziness. It would qualify, marginally, for leisure activities available.

Aus, Jap, US, Can, UK, Italy, Sweden, France, Norway are the highest ranked as far as hours worked.

Good timing on this article, speaking of being fat:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-11935525

Though I guess Italy isn't fat, they have the 3rd lowest obesity rate apparently.
