why does it matter? whether a kid is breast-fed or not makes no difference in the long run. its not like a kid using formula will grow a third arm.

Scientific tests have proven that kids that are breast fed are generally healthier in later life.

It also acts as a bond between mother and child....

I was never against breast feeding by the way I was just concerned about 9 year olds being breast fed and the need for women to protest outside a supermarket. I wasn't aware that breastfeeding has been banned so why are they protesting.

 

Actually, i thought i read that the kid was healthier/smarter the first 5 years of his life..and then the gap narrowed to be almost negligible.

anyways, not looking for a real discussion on it though
