Another cancer faker charged

one of her friends went into protection: like 10yrs later, I suppose its how these people get by day to day...... making up little stories in their heads.
she was cremated, "so there isnt no place to weep"< how my gf put it, and wanted it.

 

im just gona toss this out there. She had seen the best live band in the history of life.. the Grateful Dead 15 time with me. soon after Jerry died, so did my Gf ..

This sickens me to death. MY mother had breast cancer, adn every week not knowing if she was goign to live or die, seeing her puke her brains out on chemo, be so tired she couldnt get from the bathroom to her bed. i would like to tell this bitch, and show her what it is like, to have anyone around her have cancer, adn to have to watch it, let alone have it. My mom still has to get tested all the time. She lost a boob to it. She never had the kind of self-esteem she should have, after that.

She is such a horrible person. I hope she gets the maximum punishment for this kind of thing. I t is disgusting.

Even though my neighbor is in remission.. (thank goodness)

She still takes pills, gets sick, hurts and does chemo once a month.
We were talking about it last night and she said "If she wants the cancer i will proudly give it to her, then i will be able to do everything again."

That made me sad... it reminded me of my grandma.

NOVEMBER 8--A Catholic priest charged with stealing $83,000 from his Massachusetts parish spent a large portion of the money on his pornography habit, according to police.

Rev. Keith LeBlanc, 59, was removed earlier this year from his pastor’s post at St. John the Baptist Church in the face of an investigation by the Archdiocese of Boston. That review (and a subsequent police probe) determined that LeBlanc used church funds to pay for online porn and pay-per-view adult movies ordered from the St. John’s rectory.

LeBlanc told a lawyer for the archdiocese that he “has an addiction and needs help.” A review of Comcast bills showed that more than $4000 worth of adult movies were ordered, with the films starting “the day Father LeBlanc came to the parish.”

The police report charges that LeBlanc stole $83,149 between 2004-2010. About $50,000 of this amount consisted of funds raised via offertory donations, candle/flower sales, and the annual Christmas bazaar.

This sorta stuff has been going on for as long as people have been on this planet (perhaps before too but thats another story...lol)...

Just off the top of my head, I can remember at least a dozen stories 'like' this...

People saying they have cancer (or other terminal/disabling disease), people saying they got mugged/attacked, people saying all sorts of shit that isn't true in order to scam others...

Funny thing is... a lot of the same people that are bothered by this, are the same ones who think it's okay to go around and lie in certain circumstances if it gets you what you want... It's quite interesting that when someone crosses their lines, it's no longer justified... and where those lines are...

Personally, this hasn't effected my faith in people in the slightest bit... It can't get any lower...

As for humanity as a whole... it doesn't reflect on my view of it in anyway either, much like most of the stupid shit people choose to do... Not because it can't get lower, but because my view of humanity is based on what our potential is, as a race, which is that we could be amazing...

But as individuals... most suck.

 

Perhaps but the thought of the parish priest beating-off in the rectory after pledging a vow of celibacy to God and Christ is the height of hypocrisy

Doctors who abuse their patients...
Religious 'people' who abuse kids...
'Animal lovers' who fuck animals...
Parents who abuse their kids (or others kids)...

Just off the top of my head, I would put all of those as being much worse in terms of hypocrisy then someone jerking off...

I don't know what kind of morals or values you have to think that stealing money to get porn is worse than either of those things posted or stealing donated money to people that are dying of cancer. I would negative rep you hotwater but it won't let me.

 

First off I never said those weren’t worse and secondly I suspect the lack of sunlight in northern ontario may very well be messing around with tom’s little gray cells

I would never donate money to some random cancer victim I didn't know. There are enough people close to home to help.

It's unfortunate that people have been had by this girl, but those people should be more careful with their money.

Those same people are probably the ones sending me email forwards of hoaxes that they believe. Or an Amber alert of a kid that was found 3 years ago. Look into shit before you act, people!

 

i spent some unicef money when i was in grade 6...i always hated carrying around that stupid little box at halloween....now i feel guilty and donate to unicef whenever I see a kid collecting...unless the kid looks shifty...

 

I never see those Halloween boxes anymore, so I thought they stopped doing that.

For all we know, the church's primary ministry work is cancer.

 

while this may be true, if you want to help people with cancer, I recomend giving to an orginization that tells you what they do with your money, and which exists to help those that are suffering...


edit: I mean.. is giving to the church really that much different than giving to someone you don`t know who claims to have cancer? If youre going to donate, do it somewhere that you KNOW will use your money for good..

 

They do support cancer research as well as children’s orphanages and haitian earthquake relief victims :2thumbsup:
