Well, the Tea Party has been around since 2010 and seeks accountability in government spending. I don't know if firearms are on the agenda?

These are the people who had their income tax applications sabotaged at the IRS by a partisan operative.

So yes, demonize about overthrowing the government, and then deny them due process at the IRS; is this the mob justice we are hearing about?

In over ten years of asking the simple distinction between a lynch mob and a democracy I have yet to hear the correct answer from even academics. You can't have a democracy when nobody knows the meaning of the damned word. Any lynch can vote on who to lynch! It is related to the shootings because everyone is running around like the Three Stooges arguing over the definition of stupid and who is the better example. Forty years of studies of the republican party, which the Tea Party is half of, concluded they are organizing along the lines of a flock of chickens which is Three Stooges slapstick. The entire country is convinced to a significant extent that the truth is decided by the winner in any conflict. They're running on autopilot and relying upon a memory centric hierarchy because thinking is not their strong point.

Chicken flocks can be as peaceful and loving as any other birds as depicted by Gonzo the Muppet, but the more stressed they become by predation or food scarcity the more violent. Cops can be considered members of the privileged chickens in the flock and those killing them are the ones who increasingly have nothing to lose because the all wealth of the country is floating to the top and more of the crap is rolling downhill. Our constitutional rights have been indefinitely suspended and the military now has the legal right to round up civilians like so many cattle. The Pentagon has just sold military surplus equipment to police departments all over the country at cut rate prices including things like armored vehicles and we now have the largest prison population in the history of the planet. Those with wealth and power are dividing the country up among themselves and entrenching, while the rest are either still confused about what has happened, preparing to attack, or already attacking in self-defense.

Hence, the revenge shootings of cops and riots in black neighborhoods may appear to be over-reactions to the situation, but are an indication of how long this has been building up and how heavily they are all relying upon their memories to decide what is the appropriate response. When everyone is shouting nobody is listening and responses all become automatic.

all the things you say are happening and yet the tea party has never had a member in a position of great power. its like blaming the cleveland indians for losing because they had a minor leaguer who didnt win game 7.

A lynch mob can even hang their own majority and still be recognized as a lynch mob, while a democracy requires the cooperation of minorities. Not all of them all the time of course, but without a significant amount of cooperation what you have is routine riots, terrorism, rebellions, and civil wars. The Tea Party has begun to move in the direction of terrorism and civil war, while blacks are starting to riot and commit acts of terrorism which means perhaps a third or so of the population is now beginning to sympathize with violence and obstructionism as viable alternatives. Its weird to think of the Tea Party and blacks as having something in common, but politics makes for strange bed fellows and my enemy's enemy is my best friend among a flock of chickens. It means the government is in a tight spot because there is no way they can appease both sides and the more common attacks against cops and other authority figures become the more the rest of the population will start to wonder what the hell is going on and demand effective action.

Trust me, I'm not making a scapegoat of the Tea Party. The entire country has gone bonkers if you ask me and the Tea Party is merely the tail wagging the dog ensuring it will just continue to get worse for the foreseeable future. While most Americans are throwing their arms up in confusion and frustration for me this is just the obvious end result of allowing money to do way too much of the driving. Sort of America's hang over after indulging way too much over the last half century and both parties selling our birthright to the highest bidders.

The Tea Party makes a great scapegoat simply because they are too big to ignore, but too small to actually win and Americans hate a loser. Its the civil war all over again and south doesn't have any more of a chance of winning this time than the last and there's money to be made off reconstruction. That's mob rule for you.

One shouldn't find fault with this incident nor the police themselves. Each is but a byproduct of the unending human fallacy which plagues us all

Not them specifically but the police as a whole have brought this on themselves. It does not solve anything to shoot them but people see cops getting away with things all the time. And from the police wives I have spoken to the attitude is that the public is stupid and does not understand the job. So it's fine to lie and bend the rules because they the police know whats best and the laws get in the way. If you are a "good cop" who reports misconduct it's the end of your career. You will be rejected by your peers. Call for back up they will not come for example.

Personally I have dealt with good cops. The kind who see there is no problem so they don't make a problem. But I've encountered some very bad ones. We need to be honest about what the police culture in America is and the type of people it attracts. They don't want to help they want to be in charge. HUGE difference in the psychology of that.
