Was thinking this myself, about CO in general. Columbine, movie theater shooter, this. This state is a magnet for angry, violent, white men.

 

And it's a relatively compact area. Columbine and Aurora are both suburbs of Denver, and Colorado Springs (site of multiple incidents) is only about 45 minutes away, also east of the Front Range of the Rockies. You never hear these stories from Aspen or Durango.

Colorado Springs is a conservative, and religious town. It's also a military town.
My cousin lives there, but fortunately he doesn't fit the mold.

I've thought of that, it's probably more common than people imagine. I don't know about this guy, specifically. There are easier ways to make it to jail for life than murder. It takes a special sort of human to open fire on other people.

But there is too many of them, seen it too many times now, the subject matter of whatever soapbox they are on doesnt matter, doesnt matter how often every one else does or doesnt do things for them
