Anti-Cigarette Comertials

What a waste of time. You can't really have a safe plant that you can smoke, smoke is bad for you, burnt plant matter has chemicals harmful to your health. If one is that into nicotine, just make an extraction and come up with a safe way to consume it; I don't see why it has to be smoked.

Is nicotine itself harmful?

And why, if given the choice, would anyone choose to be addicted to a substance that doesn't even give much effect, besides numbness in your fingers and a headrush? Just hold your breath for a while and stand up real fast, same thing. People confound me, every day...I can't believe we've survived so long, honestly.

 

I think they get really annoying. No one is going to fucking quit smoking cigarettes over a commercial...Its just not that easy.


As for the Anti-Drug commercials, well, they keep me doing drugs.

I really enjoy the ones that are like "the last thing I lit up was a rugby scoreboard." The first time I ever saw it, me and my friend were sparking a ginormous blunt. It was fuckin great.

 

people like smoking cigarettes because of teh way they have been integrated into society, and because its something to do. a lot of people like cigarettes caus they have the tendancy to fidget and put thigns in their mouths. its true. often people gain this habit once their brains start associating the good feeligns with smoking, and thats a reason why people dont jsut go onto patches or gum.

though, id like to see waht putting a pack of patches on at ocne would be like

and the alternative thing i was tlkaing about wasnt really the focus of the point, though the intention is not to make smoking haarmless, but significantly less ahrmful than cigarette

 

I dont see any point in smoking cigarettes myself. A couple of my friends do, and I've tried some cloves, but they really do nothing for me. Ciggs seem like a waste of money and lungs if you ask me, espeacialy cus pot is so much better =P

However, regardless of how dumb I think smoking ciggs is, the anti smoking ads are annoying as fuck. People have a right to do whatever they want to their bodies. As far as second hand, it sucks, but people should toughen up. As for constant second hand, that plays into the responsibility of the smoker to care for those around them, IE children. Pisses me off that no one can smoke ciggs in venues and shit tho, makes it harder to get away with a dube...
