Which is happening to a degree and wil only increase from here. Most pot smokers will be the first to talk about potential negatives aspects of smoking, but exaggeration and blatant bullshit is not helpful. Society would be much better off with education based on truth and fact. But this education would be followed by widespread tolerance of cannabis use. Which would effectively make obsolete the jobs of the very organizations in control of the propaganda. All they focus on is weed.

I'm sure that most people, even government officials, would agree that the occasional spliff is more beneficial than harmful. They are either too proud to admit that they have been wrong all this time, or they are just trying to keep us under their thumb. Maybe both.

Theres a lot of money involved in keeping it illegal. Daily smoking can be very beneficial, balancing, and therapeutic. Its when it affects important areas of your life that it can be harmful. Nothing about the drug is particularly harmful, just how its used.

Yep. The government knows this, but they also know that the risk of detrimental use is more probable with alcohol and even tobacco. Still, they do nothing. I would love to hear them at least admit that alcohol use is much worse than toking. That would be amazing within itself.

Yup, I've been both an alcoholic and chronic pothead. Alc fucks me up a lot more, but both drugs are definitely worth abusing if you ask me.

HAHAHA Yeah I get drunk as fuck every now and then. But it feels like poison every time.

The way you called alcohol a "drug", I wish more of society would start seeing it that way. People that get drunk everyday, when they find out I smoke weed, say "man, you need to quit that shit, drugs are bad for you". Meanwhile, they're taking shots of vodka. Most people don't consider alcohol to be a drug, which is completely ignorant.

Yup, I know exactly what you're talking about. I remember one time I was hanging out with a group of people that worked at this restaurant. We were drinking in the parking lot after the bar closed, and I said who wants to go smoke a blunt? This dude actually said to me "I don't touch drugs, fuck all that". Meanwhile he was holding a longneck in his hand, and drunk enough to be stumbling and pissing out in the open at his place of employment. I laughed so hard at him because I thought he was joking. But he really wasnt man... What a fucking moron.

It really is pathetic how misinformed society is on the matter of marijuana. Sure, it's a drug, but it's a drug that can be used to improve millions upon millions of lives when used correctly. But that's not to say that it can't also be used recreationally, while still being responsible.
