Obviously i cant ask saddam, but i also cant ask the 1000+ troop that have died in vain. Died for " the war against terror" the war that is unresolvable. Died for the lies, the corruption, the greed. This war is not what america needs, not what the world needs, not what iraq needs. As Ani difranco says " get our government to pull its big dick out of the sand of someone else's desert, put it back in its pants and quit the hypocritical chants of freedom forever."

Peanuts, while you belive that you are affected by Iraq (and you are) you are a 30 year old woman, and I am a 17 year old teenage male. Satisticly you have not chance of going to fight free choice of not. And you can ignore what i have to say or listen to me just the same, but weather you like it or not There will be a draft, I will go fight, and i will risk my life (hypotheticly). there is just not enough forces to fight a ongoing war without help.

so you tell me. when saddam is tried, put in jail, killed, etc etc whatever happens, Will Iraq Be Safer? Will America Be Safer? Will The World Be Safer?

Also i belive you have your choice to vote. welcome to america! No one should be able to pressure you into your choice of the next president. While I may not agree with your choice, I do agree with your rights as a citizen of the USA, A human being, and a wonderful person. I can although urge you to reconsider for the sake of the deceased young men, the murdered children, even the "terrorist". For a life is a life and no matter how many people tell you otherwise or how much the media plays it off terrorist are really only people protecting there homeland, protecting there children, and family. No ammount of oil or power can change this

First, I NEVER said I support the innocent being killed or the deaths of our US Troops. Do NOT put words in my mouth.

No matter what I say your going to come back with an arguement. If you want to vote for Kerry than vote for Kerry. I will vote for Bush.

Peanuts, you shouldn't assume that if a person isn't a Republican, they are automatically a Democrat. I despise both parties equally.

There are many conservatives and Republicans who hate Bush as well, for his failed war in Iraq, his position on borders and immigration, his record spending, etc..

The media leads people to believe that every issue is a partisan one, when it goes well beyond that.

You support Bush. That means that you support all the murder over there. If you support the war, you support the deaths. You can't support the war and not support the deaths, it doesn't work that way. Death comes with war, if you support the war, you support the deaths of all the troops and all the innocent Iraqis. It's as simple as that, and whoever doesn't realize that has no idea what they are talking about, which would be you in this case.

Bush wants an all volunteer force. The draft question was just brought up by two Democrats as a polictical football.

Thank you for your kind words. I do appreciate what you said Johnny. I pray for your sake and my own son's sake that whoever becomes the next President there will not be a draft.

I do NOT support murder. I NEVER said I did support murder. Didn't I just say that? You are putting words in my mouth.

Use your vote the way you want to use it and I will not argue with your vote.

But think about it, if you were running for president would you bring up the draft before the election. total political downfall it would be insanity. think people are protesting now?

As for the election its 48/48% in a dead heat so hopefully the better man will triumph

Soulrebel, how can you say that anyone who is for bush is for the war(murder, death, etc.) although bush's campaign does involve the war alot the also stand for alot of other things- no abortion, diffrent tax cuts, etc - other people might find these aspects apeasing

all you are doing by sayin all this is furthering the hate. we live in america people can vote for who they want to and think about it this way your gonna attract more people by kind words not negative. you are being what your trying to get rid of

Its true that if one supports war, then they must support the consequences of such action.

I think its necessary sometimes, but I challenge anyone to tell me why the Iraq war was.

Well, I am sure that's what the neocons in the Pentagon and the talking heads on FOX News want you to believe, but it's only a matter of another "terrorist attack" and the story will completely change.

I think the draft will return, REGARDLESS if Bush or Kerry wins. It's a matter of simple mathematics, and even military officials and people within the government have said this. Our troops are stretched as thin as they can possibly be, so much they have enacted Stop Loss, keeping people on tour for longer than initially scheduled. This is essentially a backdoor draft.

People are VERY gullible if they believe everything Bush or Kerry says. These idiots will say anything to get elected. And we certainly already know what a LIAR Bush is.

I'll be politically correct about it then. If you support the war, that means you support the 'collateral damage' that is the innocent Iraqis getting shot up and getting the shit bombed out of them. But I doubt you care about the Iraqis, so something that may move you would be the fact that you are supporting the killing of fellow American soldiers. And for what? This war is a war based on lies. The Pentagon has yet to be anywhere near the truth for the 9/11 attacks, and there is empirical evidence that shows high up people in the U.S. govt have more connections to 9/11 than any "terrorist" group has. There were no wmd's in Iraq, no connection to Al-Queda, and Saddam had no plans on taking over America. Not only are you supporting a mass-murderer, for some unknown reason you continue to support a man who has lied to you countless times and refuses to apologize. Seamonster said it best when he said "You are an asshole for supporting George Bush."
