I think when you finally get a drum kit and after a few months of playing and go back to this Gavin Harrison video you'll have more appreciation for his clean timber and technique.

It's funny how you never notice you made a typo until you go back and look at it later...my excuse is that I was stoned, lol.

 

heres some pictures of the snare drum with the kit. I am eventually going to have all the hard ware and rims powder-coated black. i think that will make it look unique, im in the process of buying some black lacquered wood bass rims as well.
