I just bought 'Way Of The Peaceful Warrior' after I heard about it on this forum. So far, so good. I'm really finding it interesting.
After I'm done with the book, I'd like to see the movie.

One of my friends from college said she had to read 'Siddartha' for school... I guess she wasn't impressed. I'd kinda like to check it out tho. There isn't a copy of it anywhere online, is there?

Thanks for all these great suggestions!

'In My Own Way' the autobiography of Alan Watts, Im reading it right now and it is wonderful :)
    God Bless ~
P.S. Retro Angel, Siddartha is one of the more popular spiritual books of all time, you can find it at any library in Maine Im positive! It's a good book, nothing mind blowing but very entertaining. I read it in about 3 hours, so it's not terribly long.

'Autobiography of a Saint' - Therese of Lisieux.

(I'm still, I think, reeling under it's impact)

    'Life Divine' Sri Aurobindo

'Pilgrims of the Stars' Dilip Kumar Roy & Ma Indira Devi

    Poems of William Blake.

not sure if anyone has already mentioned it as i haven't read all the posts but 'illusions' by richard bach is good. its only a tiny book & you could read it in a few hrs. read it yrs ago but i can still remember some quotes from it...

you teach best what you most need to learn...

every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. what you choose to do with them is up to you...

i also remember he spoke about us being like magnets attracting those we have something to learn from in this lifetime & them from us...& repelling those we have nothing to learn from & vice versa...

Em "The Secret" i believe has a bit of a following nowadays. Its about positive thinking, and the laws of attraction. How to think your life into a better state. I guess one needs to read it to make an informed decision. I just started but havent seen any major benefits as of yet, only time will tell.
