anyone else feel trapped by society?

Ahwell, changing the world can never succeed cause of the different people who dont want it to change. Look back in history, the indians were great, only used what they needed, but then the 'cowboys' came. wanting it to be different. all because of the power they want and stuff.

 

Yep, like in Stephen King's "The Stand", except without the regrouping and starting the old shit back up.
Which is really the point of that novel; the perspective that if you remove people from their chains they'll forge new ones, or put the old ones back on. Sad, but insightful.
Damn that book is one of my favourites by him; one of about 9 of his that are actually decent.

 

I think your right, human can never completely change; just as plato had written:"Every man is evil or has done something evil in his life", but then again diversity is what makes this world what it is, so yeah, i guesss we are all trapped in one way or another.

Nope, never read that one. The 9 or so I think are decent are The Dark Tower series (maybe that should count as 1?), The Stand, and IT.

 

We're all a bunch of fuckin slaves.. slaves to this corrupt, strange society. Work, work, work, die. If you choose to take a different path you are insane... and society traps the insane from any small amount of freedom we may have here. Right now, since I'm just seventeen, they'll consider these feelings a rebellious "phase" but now I have to choose whether I shun society forever or become what I hate. It's inevitable, I KNOW I'll become a slave because it's been programmed into me. God, I sound so paranoid. I feel trapped by society because I AM trapped by society. I think about it often and I know it's not good for me. Ohh, is it 1984 yet?

This only reminds us, that academic rienforcement is the most effective course betwixt the adversitiy of compounding impulse.

Listen my friend, it IS up to the INDIVIDUAL whether or not it's a good idea to conform.
When looking to escape(despite my rat like nature),
you know that the choice has already been decided.
Instead, not allowing yourself to become too overwhelmed IS where the new things that live through the "shunning"
of a flock busy watching the bon fire burn, simply because they're taking a very wasteful breather from creativity, inciting disattraction from it, or simply only interested in it.
Choice is still always there, and Senses are still always dependent.
But the mind, is what prevails in the dominion of such processible evolution.

trapped by society ? trapped by dictates of what defines "life" or chained to life itself. does the society create barrier's for us to free ourselves, or the barrier's exist in us ..

Society kills what we truly are.
Human are just one part of nature it's unfair against nature to destroy it.And when we destroy nature we destroy part of our soul.
So yes i feel like trapped.

 

The society takes over our lives. Sometimes i feel guilty being human, destroying this planet. (i dont though). We're not free anymore, we have to do what they say. Else we get punished. We're not living as a good social group anymore.
