Anyone else look waaay younger than they are?

Most people who see me in person are thoroughly shocked to hear that I'm nearly 30 years old with three kids. Most of the time I get "You don't look old enough to have three kids!" and "I would have never guessed you were that age!" and "But you look so YOUNG!"

I must confess that many times I feel that I'm treated differently because of my younger looking age, and many times in a negative way. But oh well, such is life. I'm enjoying looking young for as long as I can. Never thought I'd hear myself say that, I used to get so offended to be confused with a younger aged person. Not anymore. *laughs*

So believe me, you might hate it now (been there, done that!), but you'll appreciate it as you get older! Trust me!

 

You do look younger than that, Hippychick! And how lovely, that you get to be judged by strangers for it. "Three kids and she's not a day over 17? What a slut!" sigh.

 

Yeah.. But it's cool. I have DiCaprio-style aging. I'll look 25 when I'm 35. Why not.

 

I get asked for ID whenever I buy alcohol or baccy, so I assume I look younger than 23. But for the most part, people don't seem shocked or horrified when they hear my age.

 

OK, here's a test. I am going to post a picture of me and one of my sister and you have to guess who's older.

 

I think I look a couple years younger than I am.

it sucked in junior high and high school, but I've learned to play up the boyish thing. I wouldn't trade my looks for anything.

I don't know about the UK, but I've heard that Stateside clerks are told to card anyone who looks younger than 27.

 

In the UK, the age is 18, so usually it's anyone who looks under 21.

 

When I bartended I was told younger than 30. But nobody fucking does it.

 

I was told younger than 25.

 

that's true. even with my baby face I get carded 30% of the time, tops.

 

I hardly ever get carded anymore. But people still think I'm REAL young.

 

Ill be carded until I have grey hair.

I'm 18 and often i'm told i look 16ish which makes me prtty self conscious.... it kind of takes the edge off of strutting up to the bar to get a drink when you get I.D'd

 

I don't really care what age I look like. I have no sense of age, really.

i feel i have aged way more than is appropriate. probably because of living with smokers and being a smoker myself.. and that wasnt the only thing i was smokin! so yeah i have wrinkles. so be happy you look younger
