Americans make life so hard for themselves.
Don't you guys ever follow other countries model?
You can have both quite easily.

You still have to pay for healthcare.
As long as the healthcare the government pays for is good...then does it matter if it is payed for out of taxes?
Our health care system is equitable...
You lot seriously need to think of more than the individual.

you dont have to pay for health care. you can live until you die using only homeopathic remedies for minor ailments and accepting death in the event of something catastrophic.

not to mention a person can use their savings if they choose.

and the government isnt paying for health care, you are. if not in the form of a policy premium in the form of taxes.

a person shouldnt be forced to buy health insurance.

on the flip side, im all for being denied care because you cant pay the bill.

    heartless bastard aint i?

    I'm American.
    I don't believe in homeopathic remedies .
    I don't want to die before I am 80.
I don't want my baby to die in childbirth.

    I am American.
I am poor through no fault of my own.
    I still can get sick.

More people would be wanting healthcare than to be thrust into the dark ages...which is where it feels you are living.

The Dark Ages had a few more proverbial light bulbs on than once thought, at least when it came to issues of the body.
People living in Europe during early Medieval times (400—1200 A.D.) actually had a progressive view of illness because disease was so common and out in the open, according to the research presented at a recent historical conference.
Instead of being isolated or shunned, the sick were integrated into society and taken care of by the community, the evidence suggests.

:smilielol5:Yes, lets go back to the dark ages.

grand lets start by closing all the ICU's.. folks can go home and die naturally.

hell lets just go all the way and close the hospitals all together. im sure you wont mind opening your home to those in your community with infectious diseases..:cheers2:

No, we should treat medical care as a community effort and work together...heck, pool our money and help the community as a whole.
Not retreat to our own little world. :cheers2:

Yeah, choice, but this issue needs a vote?
You guys will never get anywhere otherwise.

    Yeah, there was hospitals.
I'm not sure if in europe there was treatment...but I did read there was care.
