Your wrong in your assertion that an opinion can't be wrong. Like if I were to say in my opinion, cherry cobler makes the best garage door opener... opinions can be wrong, and they often are, when I disagree with them

Aphex Twin is a genius, Selected Ambient Works 85-92, Windowlicker, Come to Daddy Ep, Surfing on Sine Waves etc etc. Anyone who thinks he's crap obviously knows fuck all about electronic music or else lacks any taste. Anyone who likes him I'd recommend checking out Squarepusher, Plaid and Ceephax Acid Crew.

Whatever happened to personal taste. As I said I have between 300 and 400 electronic cds from the time when I actually liked electronic music. I cant stand it now though.

No....I think you don't know the difference between good and bad electronic music. I know it's nearly all down to personal opinions but tbh yours sucks.

I thought it was always good to like your own thing, and not get influenced by others just because they say what is good...

 

I do not know all the names listed and a few i agree are actually very good... not for me but i can respect them... for example orbital... but come on now.... you think dj shadow is good? my husband owes two disks of dj shadow and ive seen him twice. cant stand him.

i have been exposed to a lot of electronic music and it's just not my style but that doesnt mean i dont know anything about it. fawk, i can spin records pretty good and have actually been paid for it.
